you could add amethysts, boats(?), parts of a ruined portal with crying obsidian, some fossils with bone blocks or skulls... I also like Natural History Museums where there are some scenarios like little biomes.

You could add signs next to the paintings, since they all have a name and we know the artist, could be nice, just like in museums. You could even add ''First era'' and ''Second Era'' to distinguish them too. Also, there is so many templates, mob heads now, got the sniffer egg too if you want. But your museum is really nice and I like the minimalist look for the walls so the art really pops out!

You can add smithing templates to the helmets inside the Glass.

first time here and that rat tunnel thing is AWESOME. also the lighting things on top of the paintings. Also , you could try and use chainmail instead of gold helmets (because chainmail is more rare and being uncraftable , it is an actual artefact of sorts). Plus , in place of some of the flowerpots in that main room , you could place some pottery sherds that vaguely resemble the shape on the wall. also maybe add some hanging signs with made-up names for stuff. Also , idk if that update has released yet or not but in recent snapshots we saw overhauled banner pattern item designs. putting them in item frames can make them look like they are old manuscripts.
I do realise i am a tad late here though lol.

This is the first video of yours I’ve seen, and I’ve gotta say, you deserve a lot more recognition. Your editing is great, your commentary too, and of course the build is amazing. One suggestion I have is to give the paintings titles like in a real art gallery! I did this once and it was lots of fun coming up with them.

I am very new to Minecraft, literally 2nd month the in. I stumbled on your storage space video from a few months ago then this one was recommended to me. As a life long painter and huge art lover, THIS IS GORGEOUS! You absolutely captured the look and feeling of being in a museum. I love how cohesive and yet diverse the rooms are. My favorite part is the water feature room with the sculptures around the outside.

It would be cool If this gallery has something to showcase all the pottery shards like the unique trial chamber one as well as some more common ones from archeology. Also in my own server, our art gallery also has some player generated art like map art or simple stuff like cool banner design (Phoenix design, heart design, dragon design,…)

Make a museum of different potions and foods with a lectern on each section telling us the recipe for the consumable

Well, I was already planning a museum. Now it’s decided. Even though I would add the sherds and armor trims

How did you get your video editing job? It's exactly the skill I am learning but finding work has been so hard.
