Hi When I am trying to run this command on exchange machine where exchange is installed it is throwing and error object could not be found on dc1.local. Here DC1 is my root DC and i only have one more 2016 server where exchange 2016 is installed. Pls help
can I run IISRESET instead of restarting the entire server? the issue I have is that some users can't access OWA and I can only do it in one browser all others give http 500 internal server error
Is the reboot of entire box required? I restarted app pool but can't reboot during the day so haven not attempted. The IIS restart with recreate did not work.
there can be multiple causes for the same error message. This solution worked for me open Exchange shell as administrator execute the 2 scripts C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Bin\ UpdateCas.ps1 C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Bin\ UpdateConfigFiles.ps1 Maybe also execute iisreset
this video does not help you , because you have a database disabled in which the administrator 's mailbox . You are connected to the ecp by a mailbox that is Disconnected!!!!!!!!! Create a new database make a new admin and log in to ecp
This method worked for me also. Just delete the aplication 'owa' in IIS manager (default website) and "add virtual directory"" manualy. After that, convert it to application and you're done. The location of the 'owa' directory is in my case C:\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\FrontEnd\HttpProxy
Please could you add the commands to the "MORE INFO" section on your video so people dont have to copy from the screen. $0 much Love Thanks for the video

there can be multiple causes for the same error message.
This solution worked for me
open Exchange shell as administrator
execute the 2 scripts
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Bin\
UpdateCas.ps1
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Bin\
UpdateConfigFiles.ps1
Maybe also execute iisreset
I tried it but it says: The operation couldn't be performed because object win2\owa Default web site couldn't be found
Put your server name in "win2"
good
Use single quotes, because of the backslash in the site name.
@@anomaly297 I tried with single quote but still same error
@@SarvGoyal install metabase Explorer and check if the virtual directory exists there. If not then create a new one directly.
