just FYI:
the activation QR code is single use, so you could have shared it in the video. It can never be reused after it has been used once.When you resell your bike you can deregister yourself as the owner of the bike and receive a new activation code via email automatically. If that does not work for some reason VanMoof support will have to create a new code for you or simply assign your account as the owner of the bike after providing proof that you are the owner.

Thanks, so that's why I keep invalid number errors whenever I try and register my S5. The first time it did accept the numbers but the phone took so long to process the registration I thought it was locked and cancelled out. Now if I try again I get invalid number errors.
Oh well, no riding my new bike for for many days until Van Mood support decide to work on my support ticket.😮

@@mbajwa8565 Hey Mahboob, sounds unfortunate that this did not work the first time around. I would recommend to ask the support staff kindly on the live chat, since they usually can provide you with a new code relatively easily. Do this if you want to ride sooner!

@@magnuswobser8414 Thank you for the advice Magnus, I did just that today and though it took a while did manage to speak to very helpful human and they sorted my issue out and the S5 is ready to ride !
Just need it to stop raining, apparently tomorrow is one dry day for a week ahead, so I shall be going for my first ride tomorrow.

Does the sp mount come with the bike or is it something one has to buy separately?

the bike not unlocking when you lock it is a security feature. If you lock it, go away from it and then come back push unlock will work. Its so, that a thief cant just sneak up on you wait for you to lock the bike, walk 10 meters and then unlock and take it.

Mein neues S5 hat ein Problem mit dem KICK-LOCK - ich höre immer das Geräusch des "LOCKINGS" , aber es verriegelt nicht, weiß Du da vielleicht Rat?

@@TheBulitta weiß ich nichts drüber, ich habe ein S3. Jedoch hatte mein S3 auch ein paar mal, dass das lock geräusch kam aber ich das fahrrad normal bewegen konnte, es war aber softwareseitig abgeschlossen, also der alarm ging beim losfahren an. Bei mir hat das resetten und aufladen des rades geholfen.

@@KuebelHund das hatte ich auch, ich habe aber herraus gefunden dass das nur passiert wenn man es zu schnell abschließt. Also z.b du bist noch vor 2sek gefahren, also erst absteigen 3sek warten und dann abschließen hat das problem gelöst

Please speak about what if the bike is on locked mode and try to move it and does it give the alarm? Like s3

You seem like an expert. I bought one of these from a police auction and I have none of the info required to run it. Do you know if there is a way to unlock it?

You can contact VanMoof on Twitter. You'll need the bike frame number, IMEI number and (possibly) the MAC address from the Smart cartridge; along with proof of purchase. They might be able to help you.
