    Dear Victoria, even as boring as Hybrids are your presence alone is worth watching. But could you please do me one favor? You MUST say the word "NAUGHTY" at least once in every video! God I love when you say that. 😍 Happy to see a new episode on your channel. I've truly enjoyed watching every single video. Keep up the great job! 💯💯💯

    I have a Toyota Corolla 2.0 self charging hybrid and it’s brilliant. So easy to live with & the 2.0 has 186Bhp so is good to drive. The eCVT gearbox & electric motors mean the power is available immediately to. 54+mpg at legal motorway speeds & over 60 on slower roads & in town.

    I do hope the powers that be allow the production of all Hybrids (including the Mild ones) after 2030.

    Thanks for the explainer on the difference between the two options. For my family, a full hybrid would probably be best. We live far from "big city shopping" and the area is still lacking in infrastructure to support EVs. For cargo and people, a Sorento Hybrid seems like a good choice.

    Problem with a PHEV is if you don't charge it (I know a few peeps who don't) then you are lugging around the extra weight of the batteries which will affect the mpg. Surely its a case of mild hybrid or full electric....Or neither.

    Isn't MHEV (Mild Hybrid etc.) the industry standard term? Never heard of FHEV before this video 🤷

    Any car with a lithium battery should not be charged inside a garage. Please have a look at an engineer in Australia who has done a video about the dangers. Carexpert John Cadogan.

    So confusing tbh. Is this a review on battery cars in general as listed, or a Ford review?
    Why the car industry has made it so complicated is probably why the uptake on any of these variants so poor. So many names and variants, too many connections, charge types, it’s like Betamax, VHS, Laser Disc, but times 20, why don’t they get together and use one cable, one structure, save you nailing you flag to a single mast.
    Poor marketing tbh, I’ll sit with my simple petrol car, pull up, 300-400 miles in a 3 min simple process.
    Oh and don’t start on cost, yes electric is cheaper if you have the facility to charge, how’s that work on the 20th floor flat in London? plus the cost of the electric car over a petrol one, makes no sense for most with average mileage, they are just way too expensive at the start.
    Cheers for the video VHB, keep well 🙏

    I live in rural Australia. EV or Hybrid is completely useless. Those that live where it is useful should take the next step and use public transport.

    I would Never drive a full EV..... But a Hybrid might be a good alternative..... The problem I have is, like many others I can`t park near my house to be able to plug in.... Now I know that you are in demand... But please take us with you all the time...We miss you.... :-))) xxxx

    FHEV must be equivalent to a ‘mild Hybrid’ like the Audi RS6 with the 48V electric current generated by the engine powering all the cars active anti-roll and fill-in torque systems. DC seem to be ‘rapid chargers’ and PHEV using domestic power are obviously AC. The new September 2021 Range Rover and 2022/ 2023 Range Rover Sport have the top 510e engine PHEV. It and other diesel model PHEV in the range have 70 miles of pure EV driving. PHEV obviously weigh more because of the electric motor and battery than the equivalent ICE - Internal Combustion Engine only model and unless you charge them at home or at work each day will affect your mpg petrol usage. As you are paying for the electricity you wonder what the advantage of a PHEV is. I suppose it means you use less petrol or get in excess of 100mpg as you are powering the car with the battery charged at home as well.

      @andrewholt3849 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Possibly what I described as ‘mild hybrid’ in the Audi RS6 doesn’t have a battery to store the electricity generated off the petrol engine which runs the active anti-roll system and turbo charge lag fill in and what you described as a FHEV does have a battery to store the electric generated.
