Read the last half of searchlight again! It makes YOUR unit easier to hit while its on more than it makes the enemy easier to hit, and only makes the enemy easier to hit if they're in range.

Also it does nothing at all in 70%+ illumination
That yellowjacket explosion was so painful...
The party lasers use Medium Chem Laser ammo, one of the ammo things you took was Large Chem Laser ammo. Oh well, at least the random salvage gave you a bunch of the other good stuff anyways.
The yellow jacket was wrecking faces until it got it's face wrecked

I saw that too, he got excited and just grabbed everything that said "chem laser ammo"
But maybe he ends up using large chem lasers some time.

Honestly the question now is: disco lasers or double machine guns. I feel like the lasers will win in that choice

Now he just needs to find mms infernos.
Another ammo, with current rules that would make pants tight, is tandem mms ammo.
Aim at legs mainly by kick attack and if they live a piloting check is needed every move. Woe to them if they sprint or jump.
Vs vehicles. From rear or front only (for gear salvage).
I used srm 6 valiant on a flyer w/tandem . Crit Hit propulsion with 1 of the 6. What happens to a fast mover flyer that loses propulsion unit?
Wolvie got focused fired after that. He had to run rest of mission.
But that vtol was biggest enemy threat on Mao. Other than the two hover tanks with several small pulses and flamers.
Dead by sweaty paper cuts narrowly avoided.
I dont know if you read it Bara, but there is a item called DNI mk2. Which is a complete head with everything you might want in a mechs head yes it is a 6 ton item and takes all slots in the head but it works as DNI, piloting pod, gunnery a+b, TC and sniper sensors. Yes it even enables BC's. I think it is probably the most op item this patch.

Baradul, can you move your camera position up by a centimeter or so? It covers up the weapons list on mech that have a lot of smaller guns.
Hmm I see one of the escort targets gets bleeding - wonder how long till Baradul notices....
The artillery is still really good in direct fire mode. A thumper can make most mechs unstable with one shot, and can cause a lot of panic. Indirect fire seems to only be good with utility ammo now.
I really love my sniper artillery in flak mode. Oh, you brought flyers? Say goodnight!
Nina, add tc and right bcs. Sniper ammo with HE for aoe shots on bunched enemies. Ap or regular for direct fire called shots. 🎉
Also, I think you can direct fire at ground targets vs indirect vs mechs/vehicles.
I dunno If firing into an enclosed area affects damage. You'd expect concentration of damage if target was next to cliff or in a gully.
Like an explosion in a room. Reflection of dmg off walls.
Also just this patch tried vehicles with firing ports... It is soooo beautiful to have bandit hovercraft + 10-ton assault BA with lowered armor and maxed guns+ one more BA on top, both(and hover itself) shooting in enemy's rear without disembarking. IMHO, it seems to be even more cool then VTOLs. In needed case you just unmount by "external" BA and kick them additionaly😂
If you're lucky enough to get two of the small, fast (9/14) VTOLS that have the 4x SRM2 & 1x SRM6, they wreak havoc on the enemy's rear armour. With luck, two of them could take down a medium in one round. Just max sprint them every turn, and they don't seem to get hit/shot at. Great success!
Had to open the game to look. They're called Cavalry Attack Helicopter. 10/15 move, 4x SRM2, 1x SRM6. Highly recommend for rear attacks.

I had a pilot panic eject while the "continue" button was on the screen after a stackpole once
Do not skip when you read misfire chance - there are battle computers (Jam?) which reduce like 25% or so. With the right build they work flawless.

lol poor urbie lord lol bara even saw huge head hit with 4 structure left and huge red letters that pilot bleeding, even when urbie jumped last time pilot bleeding was in log abra just nah i want to brace more lol tough it still had 2 turns on bleed out so was suprised ilot ejected then that turn lol
but well we love bara who forgets everything (pilots never bleed out right...)
I think you got an extra yellow jacket part in the previous video. You might be able to rebuild it.
He used that to build the now destroyed one.
In the previous episode - 'we can build any version of the jacket'. Today 'we have 4 parts returned, we have no jacket anymore'. Where did at least 2 more parts go?
I've built my Munin with a 70% LAM Turbine, Mine Dispenser 20, Tag, Med Lasers and two rocket pods. Wait for them to get clumped up, drop the mines then backstab them one by one while they're trying to gather evasion while the rest of the team bombards them to oblivion. Not so good against jumpy bois.
You got your first mission with your yellow jacket the same day that I lost mine. I was already jealous of you having Harpy because I had a great Harpy I hired too... and who died on their first mission (in the yellow jacket). Sometimes it just happens that the enemy spawns with an AA VTOL that one-shots your VTOL on turn one. Or, you know, sometimes an enemy blows up and takes your VTOL with them as the last action of the mission. I feel for your loss.
Baradul- "I'm looking for a 250 core..." THEN, Overlooks 250 core then mentions it missing in next video...

ja die Explosionen und VTOLs :), hatte ich vor ein paar Tagen auch , der Ersten knapp entkommen aber die Zweite hat dann mein Fujin aus der Luft gewischt, seitdem fehlt mir ein Part zum Wiedereinsatz

Oh, last mission got two blasts chained together - it was awful... Battle armor sitting on a vehicle was blown away with 4 injuries and 2 mechs got sandblasted their front armour... Luckily it was just 2 building to be levelled to end the mission... "Stop blowing, you cowards"😂
I wonder if you can use mines to prevent the enemy squad from moving while the artillery is coming down so you can get the 50-100 dmg per unit. That would be worth the delay at that point... maybe.
You can aim on locked path ahead of targets. This all but guarantees they get in circle, or bunch up nicely where stray shots and aoe dmg rule the day.
Note arty shots will clear mines...
So not best way to use them.
Last convoy attack I did was easy when I put spread of mines on either side of road. And aimed at ground with inferno rd and HE on my two urbie arty mechs.
It funneled entire convoy and escorts into choke point.
Boom fell, heat and aoe dmg overlapped most of convoy.
The escorts panicked and ran to sides, through mine fields.
Legging 3 of 5 in one turn (lights)
Clean up was easy except for scout flier that ran for map edges it had basic tag and basic ecm only.
Had to freaking evac map was too big to chase something moving 10/15 plus momentum.
Might be 3 weeks late for this, but I feel that if you are going to be fighting on behalf of the FWL then your company MUST always field at least one Light Gauss.

Don't bother putting tag/narc first, it doesn't change the accuracy of the rest of the alpha
Do put the acid first, that changes the damage of the following hits

Someone explain why he never melees vehicles, for instance party truck when it’s a priority target? Melee on vehicles does double damage and weapons fire anyway. So I’m not getting why not.
losing all evasiion with 50% hit chance is quite high risk with other enemies around you

Didn't you get the Jam battle computer, use it with the guass silver bullet.
