I think you all missed how close we came to seeing Nate lose it emotionally when he talked about his parents and his wife sacrificing for his career. You can sense the humbleness and the hard road getting to where he is and how much he loves his people. No jokes here, no witty comment..... just a big congrats to Grammy Nominated Nate Bargatze and future Grammy Award Winner.
Nate and the boys never disappoint. So refreshing to see Nate is staying humble despite all the success he’s experiencing. Never lose that Nate. It makes you so relatable! Love this podcast so much !!
The transition from Aaron reading that ad to Nate wearing that humungous motorcycle helmet from the Grammys had me spit my LaCroix all over my keyboard at work. Thanks for the laugh and if I could get a new keyboard that would be great. Keep up the good work guys.
We just finished “Spung” and Breakfast and Gout were wonderful. The show only had one season. But ended so well, we were okay. Thanks for turning us on to the show. Love your podcast!
I am not one for participation trophies. However, seeing Nate where his around his neck throughout this podcast makes me so happy. I believe he actually won we all know his day will come. Signed, a fan of Grammy nominated Nate Bargatze🎉🎉
Hello folks! Not 9 minutes in and nate has blessed us with "x-pen-denture". And, yes, please bless us with a hot ones appearance (do the real show, and also recreate it with gout and Breakfast Bates, like the Krispy cream challenge). Please do an episode on the Pepsi jet. Finally, you were robbed at the grammys. You're easily one of the best in the game and deserved that win.
Welcome back, Brian!! You were truly missed! I can't believe we had to wait until the very end to hear about Eleanor's arrival- would love to hear more about your first experiences as parents! Side note- thank you for sharing about embryo adoption! My husband and I are considering that option as well and I love knowing of others' success stories.
My friend Troy & I were at Brookfield Zoo several years ago. He stood on a scale that tells you what animal you are comparable to, and it told him he was the size of a baby elephant. Needless to say, this provided me with plenty of material for jokes moving forward, and inspired him to get a little healthier. :)
Oh wow, got me teary eyed hearing about Eleanor at the end. LOVED to hear y’all did embryo adoption!! Y’all the real deal and Eleanor is a blessed babe! ❤️
Let’s GO folks! Long time commenter, first time listener hear and I have to say, Daddy B, you and your wife are an inspiration. Congrats to the both of you!
Hello, Hello (folks)! Thanks for the shout-out to my comment earlier! I'd love to come on and see how the "sausage is made" sometime. I know that it was offered in jest, but it never hurts to accept (just in case). Keep up the good work guys!
I am less surprised by Per Jellum’s height of 6’9” than that we can count someone as cultured and accomplished to be an opera singer amongst our growing band of folks! I wonder if we can get Per to send in a video singing “hello folks/let’s go folks.” 🧐
You could really tell Nate was still on his high from the Grammy’s the way so many of his jokes during listener comments were completely on point this podcast. Great audience supporting him with full belly laughs from Baby Bits and Aardvark too.
Just saw Aaron open for Henry Cho in Corsicana… he was great and I’m excited to see more from Aaron! Now my wife wants to see you, Nate Bargatze!! When are you coming close to central Texas!!! We love your specials! We need more pure/clean comedy that creates comedy about everything!
Hello folks! Took the family, wife, and 11 and 14 year old daughters, to Moab, Arches Nat'l Park and the Aquarium in Salt Lake. Every group that we came across in the 3 days of hiking I said, "Hello folks" to. I didn't get a single "let's go folks" or a look that they were folks. We also dropped a lot of "panguins" in the park and Aquarium. Still nothing. Looks like it might be a tough go in Salt Lake for BBQ Sauce and The Grill in Salt Lake. Love the show. Made the 12 hour drive each way a lot faster. And have a new fan in my wife.
Congrats Bates family! Nate the helmet was perfect and hilarious! That is such a great story-2 kids from Applebee’s! Almost like the Walker Hayes song! Laura you were stunning and are stunning even without all the fancy! From upstate NY-wear the sweater, Nate
Nate had a very funny joke about the old movie Sixth Sense, and he kidded the audience about giving a spoiler. On the podcast, movies that are going on 30 years old are mentioned, and Nate tells the others not to give it away 😂 Loved this episode!
Just discovered the podcast guys and love it! My wife and I saw your show when you were in Mobile, AL Nate and hoping you will be back again in the future! Going to start listening to some of the old podcasts but was wondering if you guys each had a favorite and if so what episodes? May jump to those first.
You are an award !!!!!!!! As you are ! Could listen to you all day long! God bless you and your family 🙏 keep doing what your doing , you are medicinal to us that recognize great talent when we see it! You are super inspirational 😂 just truly love your style of comedy and your voice and you are so darn handsome to boot 😊 god bless you and your wife and your family ♥️🙏
This episode marks a big achievement for me. I used to be the guy that had commented on ever episode of podcast featuring 3 ne'er do well Nashville based comedians. Now, I am the guy who has commented on every episode of a podcast starring a Grammy nominated presenter, a septuagenarian baby-daddy, and a xylophone player who crashes elevators. The future sure looks bright for ol' Paul M E! I'll go proofread this now.
Welcome back Baby Bates! Nate wasted no time tearing into Breakfast for his poor research on the Pepsi fighter jet comment and the banter was epic. However, one of the many flaws that makes the Nateland Podcast special is your lack of knowledge on any subject discussed on the show. It just makes sense to keep the comments that way as well. I look forward to listening every Wednesday morning. You three are the best! Oh and by the way, yes, I am related to Vince Lombardi. He was my grandfather’s cousin and that makes his relationship to me… irrelevant.
Daddy Brian, so glad you’re back! You were missed. 🌺 Your little girl is a beautiful little baby doll! God bless your precious family. p.s. I had three children and made many mistakes with each one. Luckily, I have a sense of humor and thankfully, they got that one good thing from me.
We had a 5 week early baby that we also had to wake up to eat every 3 hours. He gained the weight, the downside was he got in the routine of waking up every 3 hours on his own. Didn’t sleep through the night until he was two. I’d do it again.
Hello Folks! My name is Jordan Hedges and I started listening to you guys back in January. I am finally caught up to the current episode. I am a Denture Tech in Kansas and have been listening to your episodes to pass the time at work. Now that I am caught up I’m not sure what to do with my time. You guys do such an unbelievable job. Keep up the great work. P.S. I saw Nate in Kansas City in January. I’m hoping to see Aaron and Backstreet Boy sometime this year. LETS GO FOLKS
I did a year of law school before I figured out I didn’t want to be a lawyer, and one of the precedent-setting cases we studied was the 1999 case, Leonard v. Pepsico, Inc. (88 F. Supp. 2d 116, aff'd 210 F.3d 88). AKA… the Pepsi Points case. The kid basically raised the money ($750K I think) to get the points and told Pepsi he wanted his Harrier Jet. It was a fun case to brief. If more cases were as fun as that one maybe I’d be a lawyer? Most were NOT that fun.
I was just reading an article about Jarod Letos method acting actually causing the production of his new Morbius movie to be delayed. It was getting so bad they had to push him in a wheelchair to shorten his bathroom breaks, because his character has a disability. Instantly called my mind back to your discussion of why you get irritratated by this type of actor, which by the way had me rolling. "Hellooooo." Maybe having that cage ready would've helped. Love the show fellas. Also congrats on the beautiful baby, Big Daddy Bates
Nate has gone from calling Bacon Bits Bates a "cow" to saying he "still has enough hair".....what a difference having a baby makes, but then again he did joke about forgetting Eleanor's name 🤣
I strain the cereal out with a spoon, maybe a strainer if I'm feeling lazy. Then I dump the milk down the sink. This is the first I'm hearing of this down the toilet business. Love you guys!
I’ve lived in Nashville for 10 years but I’m originally from Maryland. It is certainly a worthy place to vacation! One of MD’s nicknames is “America in Miniature” because it only takes a few hours or less to drive to the ocean, the Chesapeake Bay, or the mountains. Not to mention it’s steeped in American history. If you ever resume the state-themed podcasts, I’ll be happy to sit in as a guest for Maryland! 😆
Hey Nate just wanted to let you know that you can rest knowing that you've found your target audience. While I was at your show in evansville I noticed that nearly 9/10 guys in the audience looked just like you. Love your stuff keep it up
I'm starting a campaign here 👉 For Nate to wear the helmet and medal for at least one segment each episode. It's an excellent bit. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, I'm begging you. It's the funniest thing i've ever seen on this podcast. (Also side campaigning for Merch of Nate in this helmet.) GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT.
Just watched the “talk show” pod cast, and I just say…Amazing hospital gown story Bates! Glad I’m not the only one. My doctor told me to strip, and put on this paper gown. Like seinfeld, felt like I should put a pickle next to me as I sat on the butcher paper. Anyway, while I waited, I felt the need to “make an adjustment,” forgetting the gown was paper. Ended up ripping a hole in exactly the spot your thinking. Made for an interesting conversation when the dr came back in. By the way, I wasn’t there for anything below the waist. Not sure why my pants were off. 😐
Sounds like Aaron had a great time at Whiskey Weekend in Louisville. It would have been a better story if he had been stuck on the elevator with Will and Greeze. No one might have rescued them though!
I do not want to hear on and on and on about the helmet joke when we haven't even heard about the baby yet. The priorities are wrong here, and Brian is incredibly gracious to help lead the Grammy convo when they haven't even given him time to speak yet.
The fact that Bates has been removing phonetic pronunciation of people’s names just to trip Nate up really puts Nate’s rant about him being a cow when traveling into perspective. *The more you know*

Minute mark?
This is one of the very best podcasts I’ve seen so far. Hilarious. And very meaningful. Great show.
I've been watching these back from episode 1, and I've just got this far now, so happy for Brian and Ruth, congrats.
Nate and the boys never disappoint. So refreshing to see Nate is staying humble despite all the success he’s experiencing. Never lose that Nate. It makes you so relatable! Love this podcast so much !!

Very cool to hear Nate’s perspective on the Grammys
Congratulations Breakfast on the new baby! God bless you and your family.
Laura's awesome! All of y'all are awesome! I absolutely loved hearing all of the background of how the Grammy's work!

X-spend-denture: after getting rekt, the cost a pro skater pays to replace lost teeth

Shawshank Redemption is one of my all time favorite shows. If I see it’s on I almost always stop and watch it. I’ve seen it so many times!
That helmet reminds me of the movie Spaceballs lol
100%
Beautiful photos of Nate and Laura at the Grammys. Think Nate did a great job at announcing. Stop picking it apart and just enjoy the memory.
Laura's hair, makeup, AND DRESS!! were perfection. I honestly cannot get over how much I love that dress. You two really make a gorgeous couple.
Welcome back, Brian!! You were truly missed! I can't believe we had to wait until the very end to hear about Eleanor's arrival- would love to hear more about your first experiences as parents!

Congrats to Brian & Ruth Bates! Welcome baby, Eleanor!
When all of you are laughing together at each other is the best ever ❤️😂😂😂
Nate, your wife is a Saint.
nope no one is Aaron Langkamp
You could really tell Nate was still on his high from the Grammy’s the way so many of his jokes during listener comments were completely on point this podcast.
Great audience supporting him with full belly laughs from Baby Bits and Aardvark too.

Holy smokes! Laura, you looked phenomenal in that dress! 💥💥💥💯💯💯

I’ve always loved Breakfast but Wow what an amazing soul! Congrats guys on all your success and fortune. Hopefully much more to come
The helmet is comedic gold!! Loved it so much!!
Loved this behind the scenes…congratulations to you both on a great night and great accomplishment! Congrats Brian and Ruth!

Nate wearing a spectacular Omega Speed-master, good choice Nate!
Maybe best episode yet! loving hearing just about y’all! But for sure best ending!! I’ve been stuck too Aaron, don’t worry.
Buttermilk Biscuits saving the best joke for last when he said that Apple Pie exceeded the weight limit on the elevator 😂
Baby Daddy is back!!

Bryan & Ruth, congratulations on your precious little bundle of joy
"The dead sea of podcast" is actually a perfect description.
Welcome back Brian! Congratulations. Wishing you all the very best.❤
Nate talking about presenting at the grammys: "It can be super quick or it can be super fast. It will probably be somewhere in the middle."
Daddy Brian, so glad you’re back! You were missed. 🌺 Your little girl is a beautiful little baby doll! God bless your precious family. p.s. I had three children and made many mistakes with each one. Luckily, I have a sense of humor and thankfully, they got that one good thing from me.

I can’t tell if the sun is actually in Nate’s eyes on the red carpet or if he is trying to pronounce a three syllable word.
I love Laura’s dress!

Can't lie Brian bought the heat in this ep
FYI- The MD peninsula has Ocean City, which is a pretty popular vacation spot.
Was really hoping for "a head as big as Will and as bald as Jada" joke stemming from the helmet.
I’ve lived in Nashville for 10 years but I’m originally from Maryland. It is certainly a worthy place to vacation! May the Schwartz be with you (Dark Helmet reference). Love the Helmet, it literally looks like it would fit Andre the Giant's head...lol
Daddy Bates is here!!!!!
Nate would be perfect for a spaceballs remake
I'm starting a campaign here 👉 For Nate to wear the helmet and medal for at least one segment each episode. It's an excellent bit. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, I'm begging you. Sitting here in Australia, sharpening my Mick Dundee-esk Bowie Knife whilst watching this episode… let’s go folks!
Nate for president!
Hello folks! Just spent two days in Lebanon and wow I can see what made Bandana the way he is.
Nate Bargatze jumps the shark 😂
Nate Nate Nate! 😂😂🤣😂🤣😂 The FUNNIEST! Wheels & Doors waste of time topic commentary lol.
Doc note I dissent, a fast never prevents a fatness. I diet on Cod.
writing circles over the letters works instead of crossing out too...been doing that forever.
With the helmet Nate looks like Kazoo from the Flintstones.
This podcast is an intelligence deprivation tank😜 In a good way.
Mama I made it on the pod haha
Sounds like Aaron had a great time at Whiskey Weekend in Louisville. It would have been a better story if he had been stuck on the elevator with Will and Greeze. No one might have rescued them though!
Woot woot!
Nate looks like Michael Carrington in Grease 2.
Damn he kinda looks like Judge Dredd when he puts the visor down 🤣🤣
He looks like Dukakis when he was in the tank.
What if Vandy is just like, yeah we’re moving to Las Vegas. Kinda like professional teams move to different cities 😂
How are we not talking about the red carpet lady in white standing to the right?
I do not want to hear on and on and on about the helmet joke when we haven't even heard about the baby yet. The priorities are wrong here, and Brian is incredibly gracious to help lead the Grammy convo when they haven't even given him time to speak yet.
Aaron don’t you disrespect Bmore. It’s the NATIONAL aquarium pal. We’re not just in here feeding goldfish. A LOT is going on!
The fact that Bates has been removing phonetic pronunciation of people’s names just to trip Nate up really puts Nate’s rant about him being a cow when traveling into perspective. *The more you know*
