Joshua, thanks for the great video, I also have the Black Widow and have been using it for over a year, I love it but like you sometimes I wished it would just pull out with out having to undo my belt, I use the plastic Black Widow with a full size Canon 5D MKIII with battery grip and 24-70 2.8 MKII and it has never failed me, I would not however use my 70-200 2.8 II on it as I believe it might be a bit heavy, for weddings or pro work I use the 2 Spider Pro with my Think Tank Belt. This new SpiderLight sure looks great, I will get one as soon as I can thanks for the review
+David B Cossini glad to help! The SpiderHolster Light will definitely be worth the upgrade for your kit. And I actually find it more comfortable than the Black Widow as it's more narrow so there isn't as much of the holster pressed against your hip.
Did the camera moves when walking, i mean because your leg is moving against the lens, because i got a fully plastic fuji xm1 mirrorless camera, so i'm concerned about the plastc lens mount
Without any belt I'll be nervous just clipping it on my belt knowing $4g worth of gears can snap off if someone bumps me. .. d750/24-70/sb700 .. worth a try tho
+Nil Surujbhan it clamps onto your waistband very tightly. I've used it a bunch of times now and have no had it slip off once. Especially since it's behind weighed down by your camera it's actually pretty tough to knock off
@@JustJoshuaJoel Late reply but I'm checking out these systems and so I came across this... I'm perhaps not so worried about someone bumping into me. But I would be worried about security; if the clip just hangs over your belt, and your camera hangs from that, then someone could potentially just yank the whole thing off of your body very easily. I like to do photography while I'm traveling, and I might travel alone, so this would be a concern for me.
