I love Ireland! Although I've never been there yet, I fell in love with it because of Miss Saoirse Ronan, what an amazing place! Now it's one of my life goals to live there one day and perhaps marry an Irish girl :)
Yes. Painful but that seems to be an industry standard in all travel videos. I've heard it said that if you want to judge any travel book or video start off by studying what they say about your own country.
Croke Park recently (December 2018) became a UNESCO Sports Heritage site because of Hurling (Ireland's National Sport) a sport which is over 3000 years old
I stayed in a holiday house in the Burren a few years back. It was beautiful but I'm not much of a hiker, so getting dragged up to the top wasn't quite my cup of tea. We did find an abandoned bathtub up there, so that was interesting. We also visited Aran and got a lift to Dun Aonghasa. We were told that it would only be a couple of hours walk back to the ferry from there and it'd be worth it to see the seal colonies. We walked for a ridiculously long time - spotting not a single seal - and missed the last ferry back and had to spend around an extra £100 for an impromptu B&B. DON'T TRUST THE LOCALS WHO TELL YOU TO WALK BACK! We spent our last day in NI and visited the Giant's Causeway which is great if you're into mythology like myself. The story of the giant behind it is really interesting and the natural formations really are amazing to see in person!
Love the places and the Irish people. Hope to visit the country. But I'm looking forward for the croke park to be included in the list as it known as the biggest stadium in 🇮🇪 and I think in the whole world, maybe, not so sure of it. But ai love the cliffs of Moher so magical 😍
I agree with many of these, esp the No.1 choice which, as an Irishman, is generally my top recommendation for anyone visiting. Would include the Casino at Marino, Dublin and The Chester Beatty Library also in Dublin as honourable mentions. Also surprised Cashel didn't make it in (maybe replace Blarney with Cashel). Note, Trinity is the oldest current University in Ireland. There were many, many older ones, such as Clonmacnoise (the site of which could also be an 'honourable mention'). As others mentioned, Achill Island, should be included somewhere, along with Glendalough, and the whole county of Donegal.
10. Very good 9. Eh 8. If you like rocks and history 7. Beautiful view but still a bit eh unless you like rocks and history 6. Amazing but once again if you like rocks and history 5. Exact same but more beautiful views 4. Go see. Great walk 3. Over rated. Beautiful garden though 2. Reaally Beautiful. worth a look and a picnic 1. Pure crap. the no.1 should be the lemon tree pub in Bailieborough Co.Cavan. Ask for Fintan Dunne
Upon arriving at the Burren, Oliver Cromwell, an English general, once said "There isn't enough water here to drown a man, nor enough trees from which to hang him or even enough soil to bury him". You can imagine why we had several wars with the British.
(this is for my school lol)the most inner structures were bulit 1100 BC,located on 330 foot tall cliff Skellig island are 2 island found in the atlantic Ocean Giant causeway 40.000 interlocking basalt columns that were naturally former between 60-50 mil years ago,it had a wide range of myths developed around it which is about an irish giant bc of its inherently unique nature and it remains Cliff of Moher
Where is Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough? It is one of the top destinations in the country and has no pair in natural and architectural beauty. The Ring of Kerry deserves a place on the list, the whole thing, not just Skelling Islands and Kilarney Park, it is the one of the most scenic drive way I have ever been to. Ireland is wonderful and I am proud to have chosen to live here for the rest of my life! 😊
My only criticism would be that the video did not do the Rock of Cashel justice. It just showed a close-up of the church/monastery on top of the rock. You need to see the rock from a distance - jutting straight up and towering over the Tipperary plains. Truly stunning!
Nice video. just a suggestion - you can also post your travel recommendations on your First Fate app profile. That way your followers can see WHAT, WHY, WHEN of your recommended travel/hangout spots, without having to scroll through stuff.
Two places you could have included were Achill Island....a beautifully rugged place and Slieve League in Donegal....reportidly the highest sea cliffs in Europe....sadly they don't get the coverage that Moher gets due to their location. Ive been to Slieve League and it is spectacular. Other locations worth a trip to are....Kilkenny Castle (Irelands ancient capital), Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin Zoo (first zoo in the world open to the public), Magheroarty Beach in Donegal. Rock Of Cashel has a significant link to the occult and is seen as a focal point in that field.....strange how Queen Lizzy went there in 2011...just saying
I am nitpicking but the picture of the kilarney deer had actually two different kinds of deer one the sika deer is not native.Thank u for including croke park in your honourable mentions.
Its hilarious how they didn't include the 700m high cliff in county mayo called Croaghaun. I recommend if you are Irish and haven't heard about them to go and look them up.
How is it Glendalough does not make this list? I mean its more eye catching than a whiskey museum/Storehouse or Trinity for that matter, crazy all together, missed a real attraction there a monastic site hidden in a glacial valley with a round tower, stunning views features and wildlife?
A few quibbles: The Book of Kells is not medieval, it is much earlier. It was created in what are called, in the UK, the Dark Ages. There was a University in Glendalough in the 800s, one of the first in the world. Aonghas was king of the ancient Irish Gods. Finally, why did you not mention that Newgrange predated Stonehenge by 1000 years?
7:26 the image of bru na Boinne is like the "barrow downs" inTolkiens Lord of the Rings , here Frodo gets taken by a barrow wight. "fog on the barrow downs"
Nice list but I'm confused as to why this has been published by MsMojo as opposed to WatchMojo. You do know Ireland consists of more than just females and it isn't just female tourists that visit the country right?
what about the carrick a rede rope bridge, titanic museum, glendalough lake, powerscourt waterfall, the dark hedges, the peace maze and so many more? seriously I think there's soooo much more to ireland, you missed more than half of the spots
I had the opportunity to be in an intership in the Rep. of Ireland back in 1998-1999......stayed in Galway; the school experience was very bad; the irish classmates were unfriendly, rude, constantly attacked me......people very ignorant about the outside world, confused Mexico with Spain.....never understood the attitude of many irish who compared themselves with the americans, acted like americans and presented Ireland as a first world country (which is not; the UK, France, Netherlands, even Belgium yes they are)....so sad before travelling there I was very excited with many expectations, but what a nightmare country.

+Lynne Omahoney yes but if u are going to Dow a list of places to visit in Ireland u should really spend a few minutes learning how to pronounce them
Anna Simpson be happy that it wasn't as bad as top lists 10 things you didn't know about Ireland
I've been to Ireland a bit back, and I LOVE it there! My favorite part about the country is the landscape, hands down.
Kaylin Patterson not a country
What do you mean by that? Ireland has been its own nation since the 1920's.
Kaylin Patterson Ireland is an island split into two parts Northern Ireland (in UK) an the republic of Ireland
Krazy Krafting Kid the republic of Ireland is officially known as Ireland smartass
Aidan Moran search for Ireland on Google and it comes up the island not the country. The country is officially known as the republic of Ireland.
This is a superb video of the best things to do in Ireland. Thank you for making this great video!

Woo proud to be Irish, thanks for doing this video!!!
The pronunciations are genuinely painful
EXACTLY
Yeah an irish person cant stop cringing
As is the voice
Yes. Painful but that seems to be an industry standard in all travel videos. I've heard it said that if you want to judge any travel book or video start off by studying what they say about your own country.
Trinnidy Cowwege.

Irish people commenting about the poor pronunciation, their own list and putting in their own attractions.
glendalough is a class place and you can go hill walking in a glaciated lanscape
No mention of Donegal (Dun na nGall) perhaps Ireland's most beautiful county - call me dahling and I'll teach you how to pronounce the Gaelic names!
I miss Ireland im irish but live in the uk
What about Kilkenny Castle in Kilkenny, Ireland?
I had the opportunity to be in an intership in the Rep. of Ireland back in 1998-1999......stayed in Galway; the school experience was very bad; the irish classmates were unfriendly, rude, constantly attacked me......people very ignorant about the outside world, confused Mexico with Spain.....never understood the attitude of many irish who compared themselves with the americans, acted like americans and presented Ireland as a first world country (which is not; the UK, France, Netherlands, even Belgium yes they are)....so sad before travelling there I was very excited with many expectations, but what a nightmare country.
God yes Irish heritage noticed
You should have put Doolin cave in co Clare or the dolman in Co Carlow
now imagine living in ireland and seeing half of theses thing every month
You missed the Magic Road and the Holy Stone of Clonrichert on Craggy Island.
Gmackematix Absolute ignorance from MsMojo to not include the wonderful sights of Craggy Island. Tourists need to know about them.
I s2g is the thumbnail the island from the Force Awakens
Try enniskillen Ireland’s Only island town
4:44 - Cheers buddy.
Where's Titanic Belfast
I'm from Galway and I would have added The Titanic Centre in Belfast instead of that place that's full of Blarney.
Otherwise a great effort.
Cork.
Ahemm !! No mention of Dingle,Slea head,Bunratty Castle
Jesus, there’s more to see in Our country than rocks!
Superised county Wicklow wasn't mentioned, we didn't get the name 'The Garden of Ireland' for no reason.
