I just amazes me that people are so mean, and cruel, when commenting on videos, and even other social media platforms. I am so sorry that they were so very ugly to you. You started your channel for you, and your family, and what you enjoyed doing. Yes, you went through a lot during the past several years. However, you can tell that you have grown as a TH-cam creator, and of course, as a person and family. Be true to yourself always, and do what brings YOU joy. Those of us who are here to watch you on a regular basis are here because we enjoy your content. You offer so many things that resonate with people on different levels. Your gardening videos have helped me as I try my hand at gardening. I do not fish, or hunt, but I love watching you guys have fun doing it, and add it to your food supplies. So very important these days. I remember coming across your channel then going back and binge watching videos from the beginning. Jessica, be yourself and do what you enjoy and just bring us along. Jessica, I want to let you know what a ray of sunshine your channel has been in my life this past year. My Hubby and I are in our late 60’s and over the last 4 years we have lost a lot of our mobility. Watching you on your channel has given us a chance to live vicariously through your adventures on the homestead. I have nicknamed you our energizer bunny because of all you do.i came to your channel for the cooking and baking, fell in love with your garden (enough so that I am restarting my own veggie garden this spring). I love the preserving videos you’ve done and hope to do some of my own preserving this year also. GMom is very lucky to have a caring granddaughter such as you. Her little appearances in your videos are always welcomed and will serve in future years to be a video memory for your entire family. In fact I would consider your channel to be a video diary of your life-what a great thing to be able to pass all these videos down through the generations of your family. Just think of what it will be like to have your great great great grandchildren watch this legacy you will have left them! I am so sad to hear that people were so nasty to you. I suppose that is pretty common on social media (and not actually personal, just people being bullies to make themselves feel big and bad) but I can only imagine how terrible that must have felt. You are so kind and empathetic and seem to me like you have a tender heart. If so, I know all-to-well how easily others can cause pain. People told me all my life to not be so sensitive and toughen up. I think my tenderness is a good trait and I am not going to allow myself to become hard-hearted. You are a beautiful soul and I hope you were able to let go of that pain.
Thank you for sharing your life. I love watching homesteading videos and Alaska seems to be a place that I love to watch. I’ve heard you talk about the accident but didn’t know what happened. I’m so sorry that people are so cruel and heartless with their words. It is very difficult to listen to their words and ignore them but you raised above them and moved forward. I’m so proud of that for you. This past year I have been battling breast cancer. I’ve had surgery, chemo and radiation and an hopefully cured but won’t truly know until March when a Mamo is done. I’ve watched a lot of you tube during that time and I wasn’t strong enough to do much else. I always came back to your videos. Can’t wait to see what 2025 brings ❤

I've enjoying all your videos with Aaron and without. My grandson started his own lawn care/landscape business at 20 and it happens to him too during the winters here in Louisiana. So he's working in a paper mill now and will do his business after hours and weekends. So what are you telling us you're a normal person and wife and mom with heartaches and love and trying something new to help out your family. I admire that you and Aaron can talk to each other and share with us. Through rough patches and great times. I love that you decided to do it your way. You learned to serve yourself, your real self and that's why I started watching you last January. I love your real self. My passion is sharing natural health and herbal knowledge but my most viewed videos are about shopping hauls and gardening. I love comparing gardening to human health and how herbs can support that. I've been a subscriber of yours for almost a year. I love all of what you do and you inspire me to be a better presenter. I'm 81 and have so many challenges with creating videos. I could never go hunting and I'm not into fishing, but I enjoy watching you all do it. I have tried having a garden, but my thumb is to black for that, but I get to watch you do it. I also enjoy, when Aaron is in the videos, and watching you both work together. Just keep being you and tune out the noise. I have recommended your channel to a few other youtubers I watch.
Sometimes the results of our prayers look to different that what we imagine. In 2024 I retired (not really wanting too) and started taking care of my great granddaughter ( one year old) and grandson with Autism ( 16 years old). I would take them outside to play. I started to pray that God would remove the trees on my neighbors yard. Then Helene came thru and mower than all down ( 30 plus trees) onto my yard. LOL! My insurance would not pay for them to be removed ($18,000.00 to $20,000.00). Then one day a tree cutting crew stopped by and cut and removed them for $1,200.00! I just had to share this story. God heard your prayers.

I had no idea, except for all the videos with Aaron at the first of the year------I thought something was wrong, that you went through such turmoil. I watch other youtubers with much bigger channels but this one is my favorite. I remember you referring to your accident but I really never knew what happened. I am so sorry that people would actually wish someone harm on a youtube video. WHAT???? I guess I am just one of your subscriber's that think you just make a video and waalaa it appears online for us to enjoy. You have to be a very strong person to navigate and commit to this process after hearing all of this. Just WOW.

I listened to it all 😊 with great interest. Didn't fall asleep as I do with some. I think I watched your first or very early on video. I liked you a lot then. It then seemed that I 'lost ' you. Now I know why. I found you again quite by chance. I am blessed that I have. I can not believe people made such dreadful comments to you. 😢 I love your channel as it is now. I am interested in all the different things you do. Its great that you are now being you!! It shows. I have watched some other channels, some started out well , however for me they changed, it became all about filming content just to make money. Not what I wanted to watch. I feel you are so genuine and show what life is really like there and for your family. 😊 One of my biggest regrets was not visiting Alaska. I could have incorporated it when I went to Canada. Thought I can go back. Sadly that wont happen now but I love seeing it through your eys, and another couple of families. I love my garden. It really is therapeutic and healing. Our eldest son became very interested in 2022. He is a doctor, here in uk. He is under a lot of pressure, his garden has really helped him. He has started to grow vegetables as well. So pleased for him. I havd just lost a very dear friend. An avid gardener with a wealth of knowledge. She said it saved her when her husband died. I cant wait to see your garden when the time is right. I loved the pumpkin content. 🎃 We visit a pumpkin farm, in the UK back in October. I bought one and made soup. Yummy. Look after yourselves. The people who make deliberate hateful comments should be kicked off TH-cam full stop. I have watched so many of your videos ever since I found your channel and I have only felt love and positivity from you and your family. Your family and yourself have only ever showed both the ups and downs of real life living in Alaska. Life isn’t always about the sunshine and roses is also has a lot of rain, storms and days that are bad, but behind every rainstorm there is always a chance of a rainbow and the sun to brighten the day. Sometimes the sun may not come out for a a couple of days but it will come out. I’m looking forward to seeing every challenge you and your family take on, admitting the outcome sometimes may look bleak but as my dad used to tell me “If you don’t try, you won’t learn and if you don’t learn you will never succeed!”.
I started watching you after one of the collaborations that you were a part of and was immediately hooked to your channel! I’ve gone back to the beginning of your TH-cam channel and I must tell you everything that you talked about I never saw evidence of that in your videos. I love how real and honest and open your channel is because that’s how all of our lives are. We go through the good and we go through the bad and you don’t sugarcoat it and I appreciate that. I think those channels that show all the good and not the reality are not authentic. And I usually don’t watch them. Thank you for your honesty and I always tell my kids God doesn’t make any junk. Great video , the little plant you saved (on the table) is huge now and beautiful ! I have a hard time watching some of the channels I loved at one time because they are so fake and staged . Jessica, I'm so sorry that those horrible people left those comments! You are amazing! Those people are have issues, they are miserable and want to make others miserable. During vlogmas I left you a long comment, not sure if you remember. But since 2020 I've gotten so used to not being around people. The medical issues I have make it risky being around people. I'm disabled now, but for over 25 years I was an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). Caring for so many people was amazing. Dealing with their families was a different story. I was the nicest person you'd ever meet but dealing with people changed me. You can't please everybody no matter how hard you try. But over those years, I started caring more for animals over people. Animals love you unconditionally, people not so much. My entire family is my 2 daughters. Both my parents are gone. They were both only childs, just like me. I broke that cycle with my 2 girls. So I've got no aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters nothing. So the only people in ever around are my girls. I go to the Dr once a month, and to the grocery store once a month. If I need anything else, I use Walmart+ for delivery. So when I say I'm not around people it's not an exaggeration. I watch every video you put out, for the last year. I feel like you ARE my friend. These videos are like we're video chatting. Lol. We enjoy any and every thing you show us. Please know you have very loyal viewers. Only do videos you want to do. What you enjoy. It shows in your videos, when you have fun, we have fun. You are what we care about, listen to your heart not other creators. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I found your channel a few weeks ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed all of your content. If you hadn't mentioned the struggles you were having in some of your older videos I doubt I would have noticed. After you mentioned it, I immediately realized the quality is much better as of late. Good for you, that's great, but I would have continued to watch you no matter what. You cover many topics that I find very interesting. I guess I live through yall in a way. You see, I am now 70 years old, and I lost my husband 4 and a half years ago. Homesteading was something we talked about in our younger days, and we did some things but never on the scale you and your family do.

I just amazes me that people are so mean, and cruel, when commenting on videos, and even other social media platforms. I am so sorry that they were so very ugly to you. You started your channel for you, and your family, and what you enjoyed doing. Yes, you went through a lot during the past several years. However, you can tell that you have grown as a TH-cam creator, and of course, as a person and family. Be true to yourself always, and do what brings YOU joy. Those of us who are here to watch you on a regular basis are here because we enjoy your content. You offer so many things that resonate with people on different levels. Your gardening videos have helped me as I try my hand at gardening. I do not fish, or hunt, but I love watching you guys have fun doing it, and add it to your food supplies. So very important these days. I remember coming across your channel then going back and binge watching videos from the beginning. Jessica, be yourself and do what you enjoy and just bring us along. Jessica, I want to let you know what a ray of sunshine your channel has been in my life this past year. My Hubby and I are in our late 60’s and over the last 4 years we have lost a lot of our mobility. Watching you on your channel has given us a chance to live vicariously through your adventures on the homestead. I have nicknamed you our energizer bunny because of all you do.i came to your channel for the cooking and baking, fell in love with your garden (enough so that I am restarting my own veggie garden this spring). I love the preserving videos you’ve done and hope to do some of my own preserving this year also. GMom is very lucky to have a caring granddaughter such as you. Her little appearances in your videos are always welcomed and will serve in future years to be a video memory for your entire family. In fact I would consider your channel to be a video diary of your life-what a great thing to be able to pass all these videos down through the generations of your family. Just think of what it will be like to have your great great great grandchildren watch this legacy you will have left them! I suppose that is pretty common on social media (and not actually personal, just people being bullies to make themselves feel big and bad) but I can only imagine how terrible that must have felt. You are so kind and empathetic and seem to me like you have a tender heart. If so, I know all-to-well how easily others can cause pain. People told me all my life to not be so sensitive and toughen up. I think my tenderness is a good trait and I am not going to allow myself to become hard-hearted. You are a beautiful soul and I hope you were able to let go of that pain.

I’m so sorry that people are so cruel and heartless with their words. It is very difficult to listen to their words and ignore them but you raised above them and moved forward. I’m so proud of that for you. This past year I have been battling breast cancer. I’ve had surgery, chemo and radiation and an hopefully cured but won’t truly know until March when a Mamo is done. I’ve watched a lot of you tube during that time and I wasn’t strong enough to do much else. I always came back to your videos. Can’t wait to see what 2025 brings ❤

I've enjoying all your videos with Aaron and without. My grandson started his own lawn care/landscape business at 20 and it happens to him too during the winters here in Louisiana. So he's working in a paper mill now and will do his business after hours and weekends. So what are you telling us you're a normal person and wife and mom with heartaches and love and trying something new to help out your family. I admire that you and Aaron can talk to each other and share with us. Through rough patches and great times. I love that you decided to do it your way. I could never go hunting and I'm not into fishing, but I enjoy watching you all do it. I have tried having a garden, but my thumb is to black for that, but I get to watch you do it. Sometimes the results of our prayers look to different that what we imagine. In 2024 I retired (not really wanting too) and started taking care of my great granddaughter ( one year old) and grandson with Autism ( 16 years old). I would take them outside to play. I started to pray that God would remove the trees on my neighbors yard. Then Helene came thru and mower than all down ( 30 plus trees) onto my yard. LOL! My insurance would not pay for them to be removed ($18,000.00 to $20,000.00). Then one day a tree cutting crew stopped by and cut and removed them for $1,200.00! I just had to share this story. God heard your prayers.

I watch other youtubers with much bigger channels but this one is my favorite. I remember you referring to your accident but I really never knew what happened. I am so sorry that people would actually wish someone harm on a youtube video. WHAT???? I guess I am just one of your subscriber's that think you just make a video and waalaa it appears online for us to enjoy. One of my biggest regrets was not visiting Alaska. I could have incorporated it when I went to Canada. Thought I can go back. Sadly that wont happen now but I love seeing it through your eys, and another couple of families.
I love my garden. It really is therapeutic and healing. Our eldest son became very interested in 2022. He is a doctor, here in uk. He is under a lot of pressure, his garden has really helped him. He has started to grow vegetables as well. So pleased for him. I havd just lost a very dear friend. An avid gardener with a wealth of knowledge. She said it saved her when her husband died. I cant wait to see your garden when the time is right.
I loved the pumpkin content. 🎃 We visit a pumpkin farm, in the UK back in October. I bought one and made soup. Yummy.

Your family and yourself have only ever showed both the ups and downs of real life living in Alaska.
Life isn’t always about the sunshine and roses is also has a lot of rain, storms and days that are bad, but behind every rainstorm there is always a chance of a rainbow and the sun to brighten the day. Sometimes the sun may not come out for a a couple of days but it will come out. I’m looking forward to seeing every challenge you and your family take on, admitting the outcome sometimes may look bleak but as my dad used to tell me “If you don’t try, you won’t learn and if you don’t learn you will never succeed!”.

I started watching you after one of the collaborations that you were a part of and was immediately hooked to your channel! I’ve gone back to the beginning of your TH-cam channel and I must tell you everything that you talked about I never saw evidence of that in your videos. I love how real and honest and open your channel is because that’s how all of our lives are. We go through the good and we go through the bad and you don’t sugarcoat it and I appreciate that. I think those channels that show all the good and not the reality are not authentic. And I usually don’t watch them. Thank you for your honesty and I always tell my kids God doesn’t make any junk. Great video , the little plant you saved (on the table) is huge now and beautiful ! I have a hard time watching some of the channels I loved at one time because they are so fake and staged . Jessica, I'm so sorry that those horrible people left those comments! You are amazing! Those people are have issues, they are miserable and want to make others miserable. During vlogmas I left you a long comment, not sure if you remember. But since 2020 I've gotten so used to not being around people. The medical issues I have make it risky being around people. I'm disabled now, but for over 25 years I was an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). Caring for so many people was amazing. Dealing with their families was a different story. I was the nicest person you'd ever meet but dealing with people changed me. You can't please everybody no matter how hard you try. But over those years, I started caring more for animals over people. Animals love you unconditionally, people not so much. My entire family is my 2 daughters. Both my parents are gone. They were both only childs, just like me. I broke that cycle with my 2 girls. So I've got no aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters nothing. So the only people in ever around are my girls. I go to the Dr once a month, and to the grocery store once a month. If I need anything else, I use Walmart+ for delivery. So when I say I'm not around people it's not an exaggeration. I watch every video you put out, for the last year. I feel like you ARE my friend. These videos are like we're video chatting. Lol. We enjoy any and every thing you show us. Please know you have very loyal viewers. Only do videos you want to do. What you enjoy. It shows in your videos, when you have fun, we have fun. You are what we care about, listen to your heart not other creators. Thank you so much for sharing with us. If you hadn't mentioned the struggles you were having in some of your older videos I doubt I would have noticed. After you mentioned it, I immediately realized the quality is much better as of late. Good for you, that's great, but I would have continued to watch you no matter what. You cover many topics that I find very interesting. I guess I live through yall in a way. You see, I am now 70 years old, and I lost my husband 4 and a half years ago. Homesteading was something we talked about in our younger days, and we did some things but never on the scale you and your family do.
