The trick to using the reflux is to not focus much on the vertical shots and more on horizontal. If you want to get a splat you’ll want to get in close as if you were using a very short-ranged weapon. I get 6-12 kills on average with the weapon and at least 800-1300 p for coverage. I don’t use vertical much unless i’m getting places up high in turf wars, otherwise I almost never use a vertical shot in anarchy battles. The weapon is hard to use but practice makes for better opportunities!
This weapon is amazing. My favourite so far, and I didn't think I'd like bows in this game at all. Its 1 shot kill is incredibly satisfying when you get a hang of it.

reef-lux seems to be a good inking support since half of the time your gonna miss the missiles its better to throw them if an ally is rushing towards them so it would give them less time to react in combination with a splat roller player might make use of this perfectly nonetheless its a good turf inking weapon (i cant call the weapins guns anymore)

The best gear imo are sub saver up, special charge up, and possibly special saver. Sub saver up helps with the curling bombs-you want to get close. You can charge and then hold like a nautilus or charger so keep that in mind. If you want to keep spamming your missiles, special saver is pretty good. Special power up increases ink coverage so that’s good. Make sure to practice squid surges for small jumps and squid rolls to catch your opponent off guard to splat them. All in all, just ink your base at home then keep firing those missiles. Then you can rush in afterwards with a curling bomb and, while holding your charge, splat people. Make sure to jump when charging, as that guarantees a one/two-hit kill. If you don’t want to charge up/jump it takes at most four ground hits to splat them. Ok! Just wanted to share my info. Do whatever as long as it’s fun!
I actually use Swim Speed, Sub Saver and Ink Recovery, since it actually can charge your special pretty well without the Special Charge Up. I personally like Ink Recovery since it just feels like a necessity for me lol. I love this weapon to death, but it can be so inconsistent that it's a love hate weapon.

Zack if you are using motion controls that is basically the closest to a mouse for shooting. If it feels weird maybe the sensitivity is too high for you.

So sad that Power Creeping with weapons has made the new weapons look really bad in comparison, they need to give them at least a buff to make them more viable
For the regular tri-stringer, using the explosions at a distance is a more effective way to get splats. Using the tap shots up close to get splats helps using this one.
@@isaiahleach4078 yea but dont the explosives only do like 20 damage? each shot for tri stringer does 35 so youd need to hit 2 direct shots then fire again for explosive damage. and it has a fairly long charge time so your target could just kinda walk away
It's a great weapon, you just have to learn how to use it, you need to ambush and move around a lot. Keep on mind that it also stores charges during swimming.
I love Splatoon The problem that I have with this game is that they didn't add anything new really when it came to the accord. Gameplay itself I personally wish they could have added a search and destroy type of game mode something that involves strategy rather than some stupid card game that most people won't play

The Reef-flux is definitly a better ink coverer but it lacks in damage. Its a stringer aerospray
It has better immediate damage but ye stringer has good chip damage
