I think the chapter 2 guns and nocturno is just for the sake of the trailer and won't be in the actual game. Why? So if you look at the dual uzis and the bullet trail you can see its not hit scan now we have new modernized scar (striker ar) so why would they use the old goofy looking model when they have realistic uzi models. and already remodeled scar into the new bullet system?

The 2nd iron man theory you had i think was close, but not right. If you look closely at Doom's costume, you'll notice he is wearing the "infamous iron man" costume, which is from when dr doom decided to become iron man. I think that is the approach they are taking, not iron man became doom
