Hey Bob you should get you some heavy duty paint and paint the floor in your new show while it is still half way MT so the wood floor is protected and maybe get some old carpet to put over the painted wood. Just a thought.
I’ve had great success with filling the system using a big syringe attached with a tube at the caliper and feeding backwards (uphill) to the master cylinder. It’s a lot easier pushing the air out uphill than fighting gravity the other way. Give it a try, you can get the big syringes at a local drugstore cheap.
Hi. Need a lil help here! I got a 05 650. No brakes so I did all new calipers. Still no brakes. Just replaced master cylinder still no lock. Handle still don't seem to be doing much. Pretty lose goes all the way in! Any ideas what it might be? Thanks
@BisonWorkshop ha ha I had a nice new shop floor once and I kept it spotless until that oil leak from tractor. It was never the same. Good video on bleeding I'm still having issues due to everything new and full air. Gonna vacume them this week from calipers and reverse till air out.
i didnt have that floor very long. i had to move and had to let the building go back. when this video was made. i only had the building for a few months.
I have a old Suzuki quadrunner LT250 4WD. It sat for a few years in a barn. Now, I am working to get it going. I now have it running, but the hydraulic brake handle was frozen. There was rust in the Master Cylinder so I chose to replace it. I attempted to back bleed, and cannot get any fluid through the upper brake hose that connects to the Master Cylinder. It flushes to the block where the two brake lines come off, but will not go through the hose. Is there a way to test a brake hose to know if it is blocked or swollen closed?

either the master cylinder is bad or your hose is bad.
