I've seen The London Seance Society floating around. Could never decide if I wanted to pick it up. Yeah, Voyage of the Damned sounds like it is the perfect book for me. I'll have to see if I can find it and put it on my tbr for next year. Honestly? I've been hunting down and watching all of the Muppets Christmas specials and they have been delightful. I don't care for more modern Christmas movies. They just aren't my cup of tea. I could have dealt with the same scene, but I couldn't even tell when it was a flashback sometimes... like separate that. Don't just go right into it with no warning. I am so glad I chose to DNF it. I know I would have gotten pissed off. The painting cookies thing is such a cute idea. I somehow missed the announcement video for Buzzword. I'm looking forward to trying to do that for the first time.
such a cool idea wrapping gifts.. i may kinap it for a project next year. i l also want to read voage of the dammed. i also felt the two characters in make the season bright where hard to tell apart via audio.

They were very hard to tell apart on audio. It was a story that could have used two narrators
