They surely will be very good at repetitive tasks but at thinking what would be best from humans and they would want...maybe not so much for a long time. As they will struggle to fully grasp the human perspective, as their thinking will not be derived from that mortal, social and biologically limited perspective of humans. Which even we struggle with, when it comes to understanding other humans. Don't you think!

That is true, coding isn't going away. We will still be needing to tell the machines what to do. Just the language you do that in, will change.
