In Bihar, panta bhat is prepared in a different way. Let me tell you how it's done, aap kabhi try karna.. you cook the rice a day earlier and leave it for fermentation. But here, we don't cook the rice in a pressure cooker; instead, we cook it in an open-mouthed pot with extra water. We don't separate the water from the rice; we eat it together. You can add tadka to it and eat it with salt and ghee/oil. It tastes really delicious.
