Bruh I don't care how stupid this sounds, but something about this beat and the sample just makes me emotional. This isn't just a regular hip hop beat. The way it fills up space... There's no emptiness anywhere in it. THIS is why Madlib can't be denied as a legend. He's put in the work...
Been waiting for this for God knows how long. My dream come true. What a fucking amazing beat. Can't believe RD Burman was sampled for this. Being Indian, this makes me so proud.
@@kavettafun fact: ye stole this sample idea from Madlib, as stated Madlib gave his beat CDs to Ye to rap over for TLOP. Those beats you hear on Bandana were meant for Ye
it's all about the producer's ear. the more i produce with samples the more i realize it's less about technical skill and more about experience with samples. that's why Madlib is so good
@@carstarsarstenstesenn Yea, I totally agree. Sampling is more like solving a puzzle. The more experience you have, the easier it is to finish the whole thing.
The sample on this one is "Dance Music" from Mukti OST by RD Burman. The keyboard on "Dance Music" was played by Louis Banks, a legendary jazz artist from India. Do check out the Louis Banks's Sangam record titled "Citylife", mind blowing fusion jazz record.
This is a gift from the Gods,if it wasn't for the periodic interruptions, meditating while listening to this is the type of shit that helps your third eye to open
I literally can't listen to any of the beats without hearing the original verses. I literally sometimes blurt out lyrics as if the actual track was playing.
Nas is my favourite rapper of all time. But, it is without hesitation, that I say that Freddie, Mos Def and Black Thought made a much much superior track

That sounds like a shitty stock microphaser, makes sense as he made it on his ipad used throughout on the sample and heightened at certain points. And the sample gets distorted at certain points as if it isn’t mixed properly, or hasn’t been compressed nicely during verse sections. But it’s still fucking fantastic.

These Dilla pauses. Madlib throws them in nicely in this album.
This beat alone is better than most careers in rap.
On GOD

It's called soul, brotha
Not stupid at all. Agreed 😢
Facts, I was writing to this with tears in my eyes
songs like this, mortal man - Kendrick Lamar, exhibit a - jay electronica, etc give me the same feel. i absolutely understand
Beat sounds like you're on a journey to save the world. Like the comment above said, that's soul

djmsup same here .
Same bro
I prefer Bonjour, Kanye used the sample better but still both great

Astonishing mainstream never mentioned this album in Grammy discussions 😔
Blonded facts
... And that’s why we should never give a flyin’ fuck ‘bout ‘em at the end of the day 😌
Well Alfredo is in Grammy nominated now sooo
True. Google 'payola.' they only check for the sh#t they help create and make popular. Talent has nothing to do with it. Fu#k mainstream music
If you're a true music lover, the story of payola, and it's terrible legacy will piss you off for sure.
The mix is straight up beautiful. Making the sample sound like this is so much more complicated than mixing it cleanly.

That piano goes so god damn hard!!
sounds there's like 15 fuckin pianos
Sounds like the piano’s going like a gun like bla bladadada da da
sounds like a piano on acid
shout out to rd burman for that piano lol.
Gibbs the goat for releasing the official instrumental. Artists that allow this are awesome
This is a gift from the Gods,if it wasn't for the periodic interruptions, meditating while listening to this is the type of shit that helps your third eye to open
Who else feels like this particular instrumental fits that scene in the video?
Me
Huh
the animated music video for the track?
Just the image... But yes, it also fits the animated scene for the full song really well
“Drugs for the free, soul sold seperately”
Man that hit different now with his new album
This beat is out of this world
I’ve been waiting for this beats official release since the album dropped 😍
👑 the vibe is incredible

Gary, I do too.
“I’M FEELING LIKE I MIGHT JUST LEAVE”
before i start a fire or a fight
the lyrics are just too powerful
this beat takes me to heaven but makes my heart hurt at the same time
Man madlib and Freddie are such an underrated duo
Beeeen waiting for this Instrumentum for Soooo long, The time has arrived!
My favorite from the project 🔥🔥🔥
Madlib doesn’t need an MC. Beats are 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Peace parishioners, onlookers and listeners......
Visitors, keepin the consumption conspicuous
Thank you madlib
Those flangers complement this instrumental so much.
Ohh man...One Love 🤩
Deze Foxx is one love sampled here?
Finally....I’ve been waiting for this
Everytime this came on adult swim as a kid I would freestyle
Amazing beat !

Xeon education > bonjour

Nas = GOAT
Bonjour is good but this is just far better
Jaidrius Jacobs Both tracks are amazing, but I like Bonjour more because of Tony Williams vocals. He killed it
This is some Castlevania Symphony of the Night shit
Imagine if Education was Nas, Mos, and Black Thought.. hip hop fans would have had a collective eargasm😣
madvillain 7 it probably may happen. They just have to talk
In 2020, Gibbs>Nas
Freddie is one of the greatest modern rappers of all time bruh
DHD95 Probably because Nas has been releasing material since the 90’s. If we’re talking primes than it’s the opposite

both kanye and madlib did this sample justice, i think i prefer this one though

can mix this with Bonjour
Madliberator + Def Educata
Operata

How does Madlib not get copyright lawsuits? I wonder if he got permission to use all these samples...? Must've...
He clears them
You have to permission & probably pay or you can't sell it legally
is same sample of travis scott 90210?
Bollywood samples the best
made on an ipad

this should've been on the new madvillain
Kanye ruined this sample
Thank the most high for Madlib

this whole comment is mental illness
He copied the beat from madlib and then didn't do as good a job.
