My mom said she had a dream where she saw me laughing before she knew she was pregnant. So I believe Shane absolutely could have met the twins in his dream. Congratulations you two! ❤❤❤❤
Before I went in for an ultrasound to see how far along pregnancy wis e I was, i had a dream where august 16th was circled in red on a calender. Drs told me I was due the 10th a week after the dream. I ended up going into labour on the 16th and had him on the 17th. He's almost 8 now😭😭

I agree Shane definitely let the babies in his dream weird things happen around births + deaths. When I was born, my mother swears, she heard God‘s voice and tell her to love me. We’re not religious, and she was sane her entire life. The night my husband died. I drove home from the hospital got out of the car didn’t bother to lock it and the car locked itself. I didn’t have automatic locking doors. My husband was always telling me to lock my doors. so I truly believe that birth, and death creates a very thin veil between us and the other side
PLEASE support your surrogate after the birth. While you'll be enjoying your new babies she'll be grieving the loss and potentially facing PPD.

Not always. My sister was a surrogate for a beautiful family in 2022. She said she felt no maternal connection to the baby.

And that's totally possible, but you will not know the surrogate's response or whether or not she will have PPD/PPA/PPP until baby is born. During the pregnancy (unless stated otherwise) she needs to be cared for and supported, that bond needs to exist in case she needs it more than ever once baby has arrived. Most surrogates really struggle once baby has been taken away to the adoptive parents, until they know how well she copes they need to nourish that relationship and be a strong support system. It's too late to try to be there for her after baby is born, she's not going to be comfortable sharing how she's been affected if they're strangers during the pregnancy.
She needs to be loved just as much as baby is until this process is over.

@@loriburnip great question! It wasn’t hard handing them over to their dads! It was emotional seeing them become the parents and knowing I helped them get there was the most rewarding feeling! Like you said, you know going in that they aren’t ours to begin with so I emotionally put up a barrier. I didn’t realize how much until I got pregnant with my daughter after the surrogacy. Mentally and emotionally, it’s just different. I also like to think the way a surrogacy pregnancy is conceived also makes it easier to not be as attached too! I have a really good relationship with my dads and I think that also helped along with a continued relationship post birth! Ask me anything, I’m an open book. Lots of misinformation in regards to surrogacy.

It is SOOO crazy. My daughter works at the Target in Olympia, we live there, and in May she texted me and said ' mom! Ryan and Shane were just here!!!' I didnt believe her at all! I was like what would they be doing in Olympia of all places in WA?? And then I watched this vlog! Incredible, congrats to you both. A bit hard for me to watch. I found out I was pregnant may 29th... then June 26th went to the ER for some bleeding. Found out I was pregnant with TWINS!!! An actual dream come true for my husband and I, and today after a very rocky 2 wks its been determined we lost the twins and I am now waiting to have a D&C surgery in the next 3 days. 😢 blessings and love to you both and those beautiful mirable babies!!! My daughter and I absolutely love you two Ryland and Shane have watched Shane for ages and have followed you both from the beginning of your love story! ❤🎉

I’m a mom of 2 year old boy/girl twins and they have been the greatest thing to ever happen to me. Twins are so special. The new born stage is really hard work, but it all pays off when you see them playing with one another and being best friends❤ Congrats guys ☺️

My brother has 8yr old boy/girl twins and they were super hard for the first year. I had to take my then 4 year old over and stay with them to take care of one of the twins, so one of them got sleep. They eventually got the hang of it, but I’ll never forget that experience!! It seems like way more than just double the normal newborn experience. But worth it!!❤❤

It takes a super human to be a surrogate. I given my ovules to a couple and they had a boy but had they asked for me to carry the child I doubt I would of done it. I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to give the baby after birth. Thanks to all the woman who can do this ❤
My husband and I struggled with fertility for two years and one night I had a dream that I had a baby boy and on his onesie it said “June” and I kid you not, 2 days before June 1st I got my first positive! He’s now a thriving 5 year old and starts kindergarten this year. God does amazing things and He loves to let us know that He hears our cries and knows our wants. Congrats guys!

I have such huge respect for surrogacy mothers like pregnancy takes a toll on the female body and for someone wanting to do that for someone else is the ultimate selfless act a woman can do ❤
I agree. It's right up there with donating a kidney or something. Except carrying a baby then handing it over to someone else to raise would have a much harder emotional toll than giving up an organ.

Hello my loves! First off congrats, I’m so happy for you! I’m a twin mom of 2.5 year old fraternal twin boys! Mine were due Jan 1, 2021 but I ended up having them via c section on Dec 11, 2020. I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere (I’m in Canada) but my OB didn’t want me to go past 37 weeks if the babies were big enough and healthy enough because they start to run out of room and there could be complications. My pregnancy was great (despite a lot of sickness) I’m so excited for you guys!! Enjoy the ride, it’s been 2.5 years and it’s still a whirlwind! Sending so much love 💙💙

I’m only 1:29 in and I’m already crying for you both. I struggled with secondary infertility for 3 years before deciding the pain was too much and stopping trying and I’m so happy for you both. Parenthood is the most amazing thing ever and I can’t wait for you to experience the joy of it. Obviously it is hard but honestly my son is the light of my life.
