Would have been nice to actually see those runs not just you taking about them
Yea this was utter shit tbh
Took the words right out of my mouth. What a disappointment
Exactly!
Gwin chainless win in Leogang makes it into the most iconic runs of all time
and Gwin's run in the rain at MSA 2017, when it started raining late and riders were dropping big time and he came in and killed it.
I must say that there is just ONE iconic run in Val Di Sole, and of course is from the one and only Sam Hill, in the Worlds 2008, Watch that run and you'll realise that it's all said.
👆🏻No question and I was there!
Greg Minnaar World Champs 2021 one of the most committed runs ever and how can it not be on your list, the course that year was brutal....
Exactly.
For me the winner in Val Di Sole 2008 was Sam Hill. He ate that track like a wild deer across all of those roots and rocks.
pinkbike lowkey carrying the world cup this year
I love the content around the World cup, especially from you Henry and Cathro. Keep up the good work ❤
The greatest DH run I have ever witnessed was AA Ron Gwin’s “No Chain” winning run in Leogang 2015… legendary! 💪🤙😎
sam hill run was epic and rob warner the stuff of legend
After the weekend, maybe, just maybe, we have a new iconic rum from Amoury Pierron....what a run, look at the time!
Honestly missing some riding footage underlining each great example...
There is a guy from Queensland Australia who still holds the record for the greatest margin of victory in downhill World Cup race history at Ft William early 2000's I believe it still stands at 13 seconds I think his name is Chris Kovarik
Yup, the Karver
More details on their actual runs would have been nice :)
🤘🏻
Why not just show the whole runs instead of waffling on about them?
copyright probably
Quit being so petulant and look em up yourself.
Umm, why don't you show us these runs? Crap vid, sorry!
Misleading title. If you'd prefixed it with "Talking About......", I wouldnt have wasted 4 minutes of my life
Um ☝️🤓 actually, Laurie Greenland is not Australian. He’s from Bristol . 4:14
He was referring to the Sam hill infamous inside line..
second
Sam Hill in 2008 is the reason I got into Downhill, and I'm sure that's the case for about 80% of people watching today too. Maybe Danny Hart's run at Champery in 2011 is another one of those milestone runs too, but that was mainly Rob Warner's doing. Unfiltered Warner was something else.
So why have you not included any female runs ??
They are not that epic? Lmao
More DH history please but more in depth as well.
show more of the run and less talking head yapping, this isn't a podcast
This is my favorite PB series of late!
While talking about Gwin's dominance, I remember him winning in Pietermaritzburg by about 8 seconds. That track was a monster.
Absolutely spot on. Sam Hill 2008 is legendary.
well the Sam Hill 2008 run is the only run you need to watch..UCI should really bring back Rob in the commentary box and not restrict him in anyway..
UCI should really include other Continents if they're gonna keep calling this a WORLD CUP SERIES..
You and Ben C are just best in business to tell us about technicalities and remind about roots where things comes from 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💙🏴💙 all the best from Glasgow
So Jackson Goldstone is part chicken… got it 👊🏼
Fourteenth!!
