प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा ने गुरुवार सुबह लोकसभा में वायनाड की सांसद के रूप में शपथ ली. साड़ी पहनकर आईं प्रियंका ने संविधान हाथ में लेकर अपनी शपथ पढ़ी. प्रियंका अपनी मां सोनिया गांधी और भाई राहुल के साथ संसद पहुंचीं. संसद के गेट पर राहुल ने रोक कर प्रियंका की एक फोटो ली. प्रियंका को शपथ लेते देखने उनके बेटे रेहान और बेटी मिराया भी संसद पहुंची थीं. प्रियंका, नेहरू-गांधी परिवार की तीसरी सदस्य हैं जो वर्तमान संसद का हिस्सा बनी हैं.

Priyanka reached Parliament with her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul. Rahul stopped at the Parliament gate and took a photo of Priyanka. Her son Rehaan and daughter Miraya also reached Parliament to see Priyanka taking oath. Priyanka is the third member of the Nehru-Gandhi family who has become a part of the current Parliament.
झारखंड में हेमंत सोरेन ने चौथी बार मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली. रांची के मोरहाबादी मैदान में आयोजित इस भव्य समारोह में विपक्षी दलों के प्रमुख नेता भी शामिल हुए. राज्यपाल संतोष गंगवार ने उन्हें पद एवं गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई.
