14:48 - Throughout Fallout lore, the only vaults that were connected were 31, 32 & 33. 14:57 - There are about 122 vaults, scattered across North America. The vast majority are in the USA, a few might be in Canada since the former annexed the latter in 2072. But as the Great War took place on October 23rd, 2077, Vault-Tec only had that five years to build them. 15:38 - One reason you didn't see any Vault-Tec costumes for Halloween could be because its waaay cooler to dress up as a Ghoul, but the makeup takes time to perfect and you need to hide your nose!😁
I try to watch everything you girls post that I've seen. Glad to see you do Fallout as I think it the most faithful adaptation of a video game. I really enjoy the doodles you add to the video
Thank you so much for checking out our videos! Really nice to be hearing when people like how shows are adapted, especially when we may not know as much about it
I've been a fallout aficionado for 16 years (since fallout 3) and watching your blind commentary on it was very fun, as someone that has read up pretty much every piece of fallout lore, seeing people not so knowledgeable on the lore theory-crafting and seeing things for the first time is very entertaining, its like I'm rediscovering the franchise all over again, does that make sense? Like, it make it not be so mundane anymore. One thing to note is that the series dont follow any specific characters or story from the games directly, its all a shared world, each one is its own story in the same timeline. The TV series is the latest installment in the timeline, being a few years after fallout 4. But each game is mostly set in a different corner of the US, so they dont require knowledge of the previous ones. So its no problem not played the games right now, in fact I think it makes it more fun! Anyways, you guys comment on the video games on the end, and as I expected, someone already recommended fallout 1 and 2, I disagree. If you get to play the games, start with 3, or if you are going to play just one, play new vegas. Fallout 4 is much more modern, but 3 and new vegas do a great job of setting up the world, plus, New Vegas will be the location of the next season of the series. Fallout 1 and 2 meanwhile, do not hold up to modern gamers sensibilities and expectations. I started with fallout 3, and only through massive, I mean massive effort did I manage to play fallout 1, the gameplay is confusing, sluggish, unintuitive and barely gives any directions, I would only recommend fallout 1 and 2 to someone that likes classic 30+ y.o. games. Wow thanks so much for all the insight! I see what you're saying, getting a fresh perspective from someone else can make it feel new again in a different way. It's nice to hear the series isn't too connected to the games that we would get lost trying to follow along. Happy to hear and learn more about it
I’ve recently fallen into the fallout hole and I freaking loved the show. I’ve been consuming all fallout content since, but I will say it’s concerning how many misogynists and racists seem to be occupying these spaces. Edit: I’ve heard fallout new Vegas was really good but idk if it’s a good place to start the games.
I have never played Fallout either, i've been a Nintendo gamer since i was little more on Pokemon & Mario being my firsts because of my older sister. Skippy also still binge watching on that one and wow 1960s AUS Kids TV early on in this series so far car crashes & boats too, tides, Skippy kicking bad guys, poachers capturing animals, guns that shot a diver man, spear guns, axe throwing at some bad guys & actual blood wtf? I recommend the Twisted Lunchbox YT which has quite the selection of AUS Kids TV of the 90s & 2000s, man our TV were so different compared to now back then, i'm looking at you Round the Twist being the first series they uploaded with millions of views in almost 10 years & it's still weird, gross & funny even today imo. Or Throwback TV Australia which he has uploaded a lot of old Australian movies & TV shows that i never seen or heard of outside of a few that i know.
A lot of folks swear by New Vegas as the best fallout game, but I honestly think that the first two games from the 90s are more satisfying for the open-endedness, which tends to be what people praise New Vegas for. The only problem is the gameplay is a lot slower than the modern era first person shooter style games, so modern audiences get bored.
been playing fallout since it was a top down game. the show was trash, the acting was bad, the props looked fake, the cgi was trash, the story was trash. but hey, its called fallout. if theres one thing I know about the franchise its that people will glaze over anything bethesda produces.

Great answers across the board! Thank you!
21:20 new Vegas is the fan favorite
love the theory crafting from someone unfamiliar with fallout, that was a good video, keep it up you just gained a subscriber
Thanks so much for checking us out! Glad to hear people being encouraging to us getting into the series
Great video! Love getting an outside perspective on the series that I've loved all my life.
We're definitely new but intrigued to learn more!
This eas a fun watch, I look forward to the rest of the season as more and more unfolds

I'm thinking we're both on board to keep going

From what I understand this show is very much in the same universe as the games, but takes place after the most recent one.
Good to know!

I've heard the first few games have quite a different style but thanks for letting us know more about them!
Congrats on being Amazon's target audience
15:15 it's obvious
what is this, Beavis and Butt-Head for lesbians?
