2 things: i was the one who shouted LOVE YOU! at the beginning, then everyone says "mic's not on; mic's not on" and.. i didnt know that of course. but after say something (which i dont understand and will be eternally thankful to the beautiful person to tell me so), she whispers LOVE YOU BACK! and that made my trip to amsterdam eternally worth. plus the joints iv had, the coolest hotel ive evern been, and the most amazing city ive ever met. oh, yes... and my husband right by my side.
I figured out what the screw up was! In the original lyrics/recording she sings "Say you don't want it..." 2x before the crazy instrumental bridge part. But here, for some reason, she sings it 3x but the quartet is playing it correctly. She just got stuck in there somehow! I would love to be in her brain and see how it all works. This was incredible to watch, even with the screw up!
She truly plays as if (and as she's inferred herself) her audience were in a large version of her own living room. So yes, this is real music. There's something to be said for perfection: that the musician played the song 10,000 times before hitting the stage. So much expressivity is lost when a musician is by large part being a virtuous robot.
Is it any wonder she forgets songs? She has so many in her catalogue. As I'm watching her play, I don't know how she does it. The piano is an amazing instrument, and I gush over anyone who can play it masterfully.
The problem was that the song is written in a irregular rhythm, so they all messed up with the number of compasses, it is 3x4 but suddenly adds one more and it is 4x4. Maybe they didn't have enought time to rehearse. I loved it ! :) she's great
That's what you get for having created such a complexly-written song. I love when she fucks up; those moments are gold.

Tori always feels so bad when she messes up, but she HARDLY ever does it. 99.9999999% of the time she is on point.
I've seen her live 3 times, and I don't recall hearing one "mistake."
I love you Tori
😍 💗 💛 💓 ♥ 💖 😍 💗 💛 💓 ♥ 💖 😍 💗
Two classics
Can't stop... can't stop watching this over and over again. Loving it.
I totally F***ING love this woman...so AMAZING even when she makes mistakes..adorable.
Tori Rocks.
Waiting to see you again live in Italy.
OMG Why didn't she put Spark on The Gold Dust album with the orchestra? It's beautiful!
I heart this woman, and that she is so human!
O my she practically melted into her piano bench...so cute!
Very nice rendition

Same here! Love these old performances!
Love you tori 🙏🏾💚-amber
Love Love Love.
0:19 that's me
the quartet are going to fast
I love every atom of this woman!
She's adorable! ))))
i keep rewatching....was it just because she couldn't hit that note? Or the piano part? She stops playing and singing...but yeah adorable.
Beatiful then funny then beautiful. There's nothing I wouldn't do for this woman.
The fuck up was so cute. I personally like to see how she weaves her way out of a fuck up.
Can't hear the piano. Also, it's so hard to play with strings. No beat/no drums. Hard to keep time with them.
Damn classical musicians - absolutely no sense of timing or rhythm at all!
Am I the only one who sees how horribly wrong it is to call a take of Spark "aborted"? Considering the subject matter...
added to my Tori F*uck up folder but she's so cute .....
So everybody loves her?
Well, count me in...
So she couldn't reach the notes or what? She's so human I love her

Concordo in tutto e per tutto ;)
LOL I guess we have to place "LOL"s everywhere to let others know we're not serious. I got your joke. I was just making an observation.
Will they give Judas a try? Jesus needed Judas...Judas needed to play the F.O.I.L.🗽
Judas owns a horse farm now with the money bag.
I think the song is old enough for the term "aborted" to be taken lightly.
..oh I'm so sorry Amsterdam, get another brownie cake
LOL!!!
I love you Tori, but what are you doing with your beautiful face!=((
