Hi Elissa, This sounds wonderful! I have never tried to make something like this but I think it would be wonderful to have in the pantry. I bet it would be delicious drizzled over some vanilla ice cream!! Thank you for sharing this tutorial!! Love, Mary
I make my berry liquer a bit differently but not by much! I infuse the vodka with the berries for several weeks/months, shaking daily if I remember! Then I strain the vodka and add the simple syrup to taste. I also leave some of the vodka unsweetened.
@@tracyvancuylenburg4943 I have stored it for a few years before even straining, as life got busy and I didn’t need it yet. Then it continues to store well when strained. So long as it has a good lid and no bugs get in.
Moat Cottage Homesteading thanks so much . Best place is my laundry cupboard ha ha . I started following you on Instagram yay :) nice to meet you Elissa . Good day Tc

I have a question how long can I store it in a bottle ?

Isn't this basically a raspberry extract presweetened?
Edie Boudreau you are right, it depends how you use it, what you call it.
But I think it would be lovely in cakes and the icing too. 😁
Moat Cottage Homesteading ooo. Yeah. Or in a reduction sauce for cheesecake or that plain old pound or coffeecake. Now I'm hungry & it's bedtime. Lol.
Edie Boudreau lol I’m hungry too now, that sounds delicious 😋
