    Very cute hoodie! And beautiful job! I'm trying to learn how to embroider and I love how yours looks. I have a question though. Towards the end of the video you mentioned that you "went back in" with two threads to clean it up. Does that mean you went over it again (the inside) with the two threads? And also did you go over the outline again? Sorry for the lack if knowledge lol. I really liked how you did your project. Thank you for sharing!

    i hv some questions - does it matter what type of thread you use to embroide? what's the difference between white carbon paper and black carbon paper? i was looking on amazon for carbon paper and they come in big packs of white and black carbon paper so what's the difference? and do you recommend a certain type? also, is it erasable if you accidentally trace the wrong thing? when you wash the sweatshirt the thread won't come out correct?
    if anyone knows the answers to these pls lmk!

    Cute! I'm curious, does the hoop ever stretch the material?

    • @p.m.chelsea
      @p.m.chelsea  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      not really it’s just meant to hold the material in place

    • @agustinalima
      @agustinalima 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you over stretch it, or if you have stretchy material (like most hoodies or shirts), you may want to work with some type of backing or stabilizer. I had never seen someone do such a big piece on a hoodie without it, but if it worked, then great! In some materials, such as stretchy and thin shirts, it is almost impossible to do a (clean) piece without it.

    • @agustinalima
      @agustinalima 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the hoodie is thicker though, it may not me necessary, but it also protects the stitches from moving or undoing so if you have it, it is usually very helpful.

    • @p.m.chelsea
      @p.m.chelsea  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use 100% cotton to make sure the embroidery doesn’t move. The knot should not come out when washing if the material doesn’t stretch all that much.
