I really like the traditional cuisine of my country. But I am interested in dishes from different parts of the world. It's great when there are dishes that are passed down through the generations😊

When I was young, I used to help my mom wrap the zongzi, I use my teeth to hold one end of the string and one hand holding the zongzi, the other tie it. But now teeth getting precious😂 ahhhh zongzi bring back so many sweet memories ❤

    Dear Sister Dolly,
You made traditional Zongzi so well. Watching you cook them was delightful. Zongzi is a must-have during the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Duanwu Festival. This festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar and is marked by dragon boat races and the eating of Zongzi. The tradition of consuming Zongzi during this festival is linked to the story of Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet and minister in ancient China. Legend has it that after Qu Yuan drowned himself in the Miluo River, locals threw rice dumplings into the river to prevent fish from consuming his body. Over time, this evolved into making and consuming Zongzi during the Dragon Boat Festival to honour Qu Yuan.
Greetings from Finland 🥰 Hance 🥰

Delicious zong zi, not much people making traditional zong zi now a days , of course except those make for sell 😅. This year my elder sister make some without the glutinous rice, taste good and easy to digest (she says)😊

There's no better zongzi than homemade zongzi. We used pulut susu which was surprisingly easy on the digestion too ☺
