First heard this in 2010 - it captivated me. It was my feelings it said everything about my life - I was truly mesmerized. Broken marriage bc of my addictions, and hadn’t seen my daughter at that time in 3 years. When I heard it I was drunk and high off blow at my then GFs 30th birthday. Since 2017 I’ve been clean. I have full custody of my son. My daughter is now in college. I have an incredible wife - my life is good BUT I still listen to this song more than any other song. I can still tear up to it as I am now. It was a spontaneous gift that taught me acceptance. I want to tell Mr. Canada this someday.
Scott Bruner yeah I heard that, this is a great song and Cross Canadian Ragweed were a great band which is why it is so sad that they turned their backs on each other and started pointing fingers. I can at least be thankful that saw them live twice and Cody Canada solo once.
@@1979bobhd That's not what happened at all, they had agreed they would breakup whenever one of them had a kid first, and that's what happened. It was completely amicable.

My favorite Ragweed song. Those that gave it thumbs down go back to your Old Town Road or GFL.
