Great memories. ...I shouldn't admit this but some years back I was working on a project for the Festival of Speed. Living nearby I went for final Thursday evening check on my front of house creation on my Huskavarna 610 Supermoto. As I went to leave by the South lodge I realised it was pretty quiet. ..most people were getting a bite to eat and having a break. It had to be done....I blasted the Husky up the hill and it was fabulous! I was stopped by a couple of guys placing straw bales who strongly advised me to go!, they did say that the bike sounded brilliant in the quiet of the evening! . ...another great personal Goodwood moment! Steve
So glad the Duke is a bike man. It's been amazing to see some of the bikes that come to or near Goodwood. Now I just want to see him turn a wheel in something a bit closer to anger at the Festival.
I too owned a Ducati 888 here in California.
Scary thing is, those are also the same tires from 25 years ago! Yikes!!
Brave man for riding up the hill on those tires , even at his modest pace
Can't wait for next weekend!
Troubleshooter125 one of my favourite times of the year!
Always cheered on Peter Jones on his ExSurties MV race bike.
Respect from madrid...with all my respect, the Duke its classic cars hero. Thnk u
I dnt have any iddea he also enjoy motorbikes.. i think he is one of us... a total petrolhead!!!
Looking forward to being part of the FOS in a few weeks!
Great bike
do bikes go up the hill? do they time them?
They do a few exhibitions, but I don't think they're timed. Distinct lack of runoff on the driveway.
They do go up the hill, they are not timed for safety reasons.
It's SP4 not SB4
Exactly friend; the SB4 it's a Bimota bike.
And it says SP4 on the handle.

Luvin those chicken strips ;-)
Respectfully, chicken strips are only as factual as the most recent, brisk ride. A week earlier, the "strips" could have been at the edge of the tire. Just saying. They are the most recent history, not the most epic history.
Those are original Michelin Hi-Sports from the late 80s, early 90s as well!! and he is not mucking about, respect!
