The Streets Won't forget... but seriously aside from the normal Fifa skill team memories, that season he carried QPR to championship promotion... I used to watch that weekly championship highlights show because it was on free TV and after that first week, I spent the whole season looking out for QPR championship game streams because it was worth watching for him alone. What a wasted talent.

Was Deulofeu that good at Milan? He was the first LaMasia player I followed since he was 15 all the way through to his professional career. I remember him at Barca B in the Segunda division he was the top scorer, literally scoring straight from corners. It was too easy for him.

Even in his prime he almost never scored or assisted to a goal.
He scored only 15 goals in 221 games and 11 years.
Only once he had more than 3 assists in one season, mostly none or one.
And even his dribbles weren't that impressive statistically.

@@mart_en Thanks for the expert football analysis but you're missing the biggest point my man. We're here watching a player who played for QPR 12 years ago simply because he had such a unique technique and presence. Nobody is here to select him for the premier league's all time best XI lol.
He would've played for teams like Barca or Real Madrid if he was capable of regularly producing 20+ g/a with this kind of play style. But obviously that's not the case so you can assume stats aren't really relevant here.

I knew of his fame from my times in England and at 26 yo I thought it was going to be its second coming, in a way Hulk did for FC Porto when he arrived from... Japan. With this talent it wouldn't be hard to achieve glory here. And fans absolutely love talented players who give it all for the club. Think Di Maria and James Rodrigues, these guys are legends in Portugal to the point Di Maria is now back at Benfica for the twilight of his career and Rodrigues didn't come because FC Porto has no cash.
It wasn't to be and it really is a shame to see so many talentless players inundating the best leagues in Europe of whom you will never see 1 special move or trick to remember them by, just statistics.

@@davidaleksic8381 back then football managers / scouts also did that but for example taarabt was able to be clinical enough at lower / younger level and / or people in charge hoped that he would get there over time .. but he didnt yet its the most important thing in football. ronaldinho was showboating a shit ton yet he was clinical af, neymar the same.
people shouldnt forget that they dont see this here. also he failed a lot of times / did unnecesary stuff which slowed down their plays, you obv dont get to see that in highlights tho. very talented with the ball but people, especially young talents, can actually learn more from other footballers like müller.

If we compared scoring vs assisting vs dribbling
The most important is scoring & assisting
But football fans adore dribbling joy for eyes to watch
For that we appreciate Messi is the GOAT cuz he merged all aspects.. scoring assisting dribbling
