This is the 1st time that Deku has gotten the actual checkup on his recovery needed in the show. EVERY arc til now has been a failed attempt by everyone BUT Uraraka to check in and make sure he’s ok. And it’s what lead him to push everyone away in the rogue arc. Now, Uraraka is the one who went through her own hell unable to talk about it and no one checking on her, and Deku comes to help her. They need to always have each other’s backs and comfort and I think they’re going to swear to always be there from here on out. He’s USING STOCKPILE. He is NOT quirkless! He’s still field active! We might not get true confirmation but Deku is helping with all of this collateral clean up and being there for everyone as he does. Remembering every perspective along the way. He’s gotta be as strong as Season 1 All-Might with JUST his contribution to stockpile. Because we don’t know how much the vestiges played a part in his stockpile path, we can assume the energy they compiled was in the prime Deku awakened at the VERY end when he went from slightly outmatching Shigaraki to TEARING HIM APART and putting him on the COMPLETE backfoot when he entered the vestige world with Nana. I consider this a win, but that’s if we’re at the final conclusion to what Deku is using in OFA. Also one of Iida’s FUNNIEST MOMENTS. Iida: I’m sorry but everyone is still recovering. Deku said he currently has the embers of OFA left in his body. So either Shigaraki gave back OFA but the power reset or Deku is actually quirkless again
@@JoeFanik there is zero reason for Deku to maintain OFA in the penultimate chapter if he was losing it for good. We would see the quirk come to close and halt all use. They wouldn’t off screen that past the ending. Deku was mistaken. OFA is officially his quirk with just his contributions provided he doesn’t put it to rest right in front of Uraraka in this last moment, which is the only way to end the quirk. To say he won’t be one person for all…when all he wants is to give his all to her. Those are the only two ways OFA officially ends. And considering the beginning of the story had Deku saying he’ll win with only his power…the best way to wrap it up would be let him keep it. I think I have OFA dead to rights at this point.
I kinda love how awkward and interesting the literal table flip of this two had happened (Izuku and Ochako) But the one thing I only wished about is that, Ochaco really need "Everyone" in the Class 1A. Since we have Tsu who actually cares about her, and not to mention Tsu is on the verge of crying, because she and Deku saw her best friend's blank smile, and awkward aura. I truly want Tsu to hug Ochaco's guilt and sadness, rather than just giving everything up to Deku and solve the issue by just rizzing her up. No... 😂 The one and only thing that Ochaco really needs was for everyone listened her story about a villain who actually saved her life, but wasn't broadcast on camera due to low battery. Ochaco is literally the one who held the entire class, while Bakugo and Deku made it. This role for Ochaco is symbolic, because it gives the idea of how she actually held the class together. From Tsu's despair and worry for the "Bakugo Savior's Squad" (Iida, Deku, Todoroki, Momo, and Kirishima) To making Shinso use his quirk to save a person in need, she also suggested that Shinso's quirks could save someone from panicking. Lastly, she saved HALF of the Class from the Dead Man's Legion orchestrated by Toga, using her quirk. But at the same time, she had toll herself and her own guilt due to this, and only Deku is the only one listening? No... I want the ship to happen honestly, but it is awkward... Truly awkward, because there's Tsu who is totally worried, Iida whose always worried even right at the freaking speech!!! Heck, even the entire class might get worried if this girl will start to cry and broke down... LITERALLY!!! She cried at the speech for saving Deku's freedom and will of becoming a hero! Now it is the time to save her broken soul!!!

I've been loving these final few chapters, mha has always been a strong series when it comes to emotional beats and it wasn't ever going to fully wrap up its main few characters through the war, but rather by showing us those characters as well as the post war repercussions and efforts. I personally love how horikoshi is going about this epilogue.
Honestly, I seriously doubt Deku's dad is significant enough for the big reveal that people seem to be hoping for. That said, I would love to see Deku's dad being revealed if it's treated like a joke. A joke reveal would be perfect for a minor character that people are obsessed over.
Bro Uraraka and Izuku are passing for the most traumatic experience in their life, they are GRIEVING and people just think about that them ending together is the most important thing 💀💀. Uraraka confessing her feelings in this moment not only would ruin the ship If not, it would be the most anticlimactic thing that Horikoshi would have written, I just hope that they console each other, perhaps in the future the other.
They should've ended up together though not in this chapter, I just wish it was confirmed in the epilogue? I think that's what it's called. This moment is so sweet though

I don't think Ochaco is gonna confess to Izuku right now, as much as it seemed like It was staged for it but she's really going through alot. Both of them actually. So I think they'd just try to comfort eachother in the next chapter and the closest we'd get to as a "confession" is probably her crying in his arms because of how much she was holding in those negative feelings about toga. Right now she isn't focused on Izuku, she's focused on how she could've done things differently to save toga

Similar to Naruto shippuden's ending Naruto and Hinata didn't end up together then because of the trauma of neji's death and many others. People forget that my hero academia is a Shonen anime and not a romance anime, as much as I love this ship it won't happen that easy

I feel like so many things got brought up in the last third of MHA such as a corrupt hero commission, society’s need to lend a hand to people in suffering, quirk racism, and quirk singularity that a mere 5 chapter epilogue arc isn’t enough to resolve those wide scale issues. So far we got individual character resolutions, but not overarching ones that caused many characters to become villains in the first place
Yeah, but I don't think that's really a problem. I think that leaving those problems largely unresolved helps emphasize how deeply rooted and complex those issues are. If they got resolved quickly just because a big villain (who isn't really involved in those issues) died, then that would weaken the threat of those issues. Not everything needs to be resolved. It's fine to leave some things open ended.

I really like how Mineta gave Deku a pass for being popular. That atleast shows he isn't that big of a piece of shit anymore, or hopefully at all since i don't think we've seen him do his usual antics after the war. And Bakugo hiding behind Iida and telling on the first years for breaking the rules was kinda adorable. Now I'm kinda sad we won't get much if those traits anymore, since the series is ending.
Part of me feels like we won't see Deku's dad and I'm ok with that. In a sense All Might is Deku's father figure and has been. I'd accept that Deku's dad either has been busy as a hero, is dead or just a dead beat. Maybe even a character who lost his way and needed to leave his family to find himself only upon seeing his son fight the world brought him to realize he's been looking at life the wrong way and wants to make part with his son. Doesn't mean he's coming back, but basically to acknowledge his son, apologize for not being apart of his life and to thank him for being a symbol he can appreciate.

MHA might end, but I get the feeling it won't be over. I'm gonna bet they'll do another series. Just like how Naruto ended and then we got Shippuden. Or how DBZ ended, but then we got GT. Same with Super. Or how Bleach ended, then we got Thousand Year Blood War. Basically, I'm expecting a new series of manga/anime adaptations to follow this in a couple years. I can't possibly imagine we don't eventually get to see Deku and them all graduate and start working as pros. Maybe the final arc ever being them ending a plot to revive All for One, closing the book once and for all there with Deku as an adult and finishing with a fade to him as an old timer, telling this story as either he looks towards the sky with a smile and a ray of hope or perhaps right before he passes peacefully.

I haven’t read the manga but I’m glad I saw this video because the last video I watched about this part of the manga, the guy reading it said that deku lost his quirk and it makes sense that he didn’t because he says at the start of the anime/manga “this is how I became the No.1 hero” and it’s impossible to do that without a quirk
Then you completely missed the point of the entire show. Quirkless Deku showed All Might what a hero is like and all about. It's literally how the series started. He also doesn't need to have an active quirk to be considered the number one hero. His actions and contributions while he still did could still make people call him the #1 hero, even if it's temporary.

So I think they'd just try to comfort eachother in the next chapter and the closest we'd get to as a "confession" is probably her crying in his arms because of how much she was holding in those negative feelings about toga. Right now she isn't focused on Izuku, she's focused on how she could've done things differently to save toga

Similar to Naruto shippuden's ending Naruto and Hinata didn't end up together then because of the trauma of neji's death and many others. People forget that my hero academia is a Shonen anime and not a romance anime, as much as I love this ship it won't happen that easy

I feel like so many things got brought up in the last third of MHA such as a corrupt hero commission, society’s need to lend a hand to people in suffering, quirk racism, and quirk singularity that a mere 5 chapter epilogue arc isn’t enough to resolve those wide scale issues.
So far we got individual character resolutions, but not overarching ones that caused many characters to become villains in the first place
Yeah, but I don't think that's really a problem. I think that leaving those problems largely unresolved helps emphasize how deeply rooted and complex those issues are. If they got resolved quickly just because a big villain (who isn't really involved in those issues) died, then that would weaken the threat of those issues.
Not everything needs to be resolved. It's fine to leave some things open ended.

Part of me feels like we won't see Deku's dad and I'm ok with that. In a sense All Might is Deku's father figure and has been. I'd accept that Deku's dad either has been busy as a hero, is dead or just a dead beat. Maybe even a character who lost his way and needed to leave his family to find himself only upon seeing his son fight the world brought him to realize he's been looking at life the wrong way and wants to make part with his son. Doesn't mean he's coming back, but basically to acknowledge his son, apologize for not being apart of his life and to thank him for being a symbol he can appreciate.

Maybe the final arc ever being them ending a plot to revive All for One, closing the book once and for all there with Deku as an adult and finishing with a fade to him as an old timer, telling this story as either he looks towards the sky with a smile and a ray of hope or perhaps right before he passes peacefully.

I haven’t read the manga but I’m glad I saw this video because the last video I watched about this part of the manga, the guy reading it said that deku lost his quirk and it makes sense that he didn’t because he says at the start of the anime/manga “this is how I became the No.1 hero” and it’s impossible to do that without a quirk
Then you completely missed the point of the entire show. Quirkless Deku showed All Might what a hero is like and all about. It's literally how the series started. He also doesn't need to have an active quirk to be considered the number one hero. His actions and contributions while he still did could still make people call him the #1 hero, even if it's temporary.
