FEMA needs to go away. States need to manage their own disasters. They (states) need to do a budget overhaul and start setting aside emergency funds. My local PO removed the three outside boxes they'd had for years without explanation, and now close their office at 6 PM (and all day Sunday). So if you don't make it in before then, there's no way to mail anything. There are NO other mailboxes on public streets or in front of other businesses for miles.
