The way I see it, Satan and Ecolo belong to the “higher being” group of characters that are
•final bosses in at least one title, but didn’t get sealed (p klug) killed (doppel arle) or redeemed (rafisol)
•mysterious, works on their own whims, causes some problems but means no long-standing harm
•can travel worlds and enter dreams
I could go on, but those are big ways I see Satan and Ecolo connected to Accord. As far as I see it, Evil Popoi, or even Popoi himself, is like an extension of Accord’s general character. Accord set up the whole Evil Popoi missing cane schtick to test her students, and generally Accord is either mysteriously getting in the way of people, or involving herself in the plot late in the story in ways only she can.
Let me give some points as to why I think Accord is considered the “big one” of the Fever gang.
-Ms Accord is fought within the same last story finale segment of 20th Anniversary right before the Satan + Ecolo fight.
-She is recruited in the same segment of the Purplune Waterways dungeon as Satan and Ecolo in Chronicle.
-She enters Ex’s dreams alongside Satan and Ecolo in Tetris 1. (She was absent in Tetris 2 on account of Ex being there for Squares instead, but Accord wasn’t in the story at all anyway)
-Satan and Ecolo were both the FIRST antagonists of their respective groups. Ringo hasn’t had any additional antagonists (I in no way count Ex or Squares) and Arle’s bonus baddies are usually exclusively Madou (or Doppel who is dead) but my point still stands. Accord may not have physically been the last boss since Popoi was his own character, but she was clearly the mastermind, and every future title has looped Popoi in with the crowd.
As for Lemres, I think the core thing that discredits him for me is that he’s not really an antagonist or anything. He’s a side character on the lines of Witch or Draco who accompanies the party when a big adventure happens. He has never caused an actual problem once (even a fake one like Accord), is usually roped into the story early, has never done any “higher being” thing nor has he had specific group encounters with Satan and Ecolo (Accord may be more minor compared to Satan and Ecolo but 20th and especially Tet 1 kinda ropes em together). Lemres is not as high of an AI power as the others, either.
And to cap it off, I think Accord’s dynamic with her students mirrors the relationship that Arle and Ringo have with their own villains. Arle and Ringo can stand to be around the villains, but absolutely do not trust anything they do, and their interactions are usually ones where the A girl or her friends don’t have any friendly banter or legitimate discussion. Accord is seen as suspicious by a good number of her classmates, and has punished them pretty harshly for their mistakes (Klug’s drunkenness, Lemres insulting her baking, Raffina at the end of her Fever course), and doesn’t really grant them the answers they actually seek (Sig’s hand and Amitie’s hat).
Tldr, Accord may be less prominent, but she’s got the in-universe power, story roles, dynamics, and personality traits that befits the grouping. That’s how I see it, anyway.

Lemres actually took no small part in causing the whole thing in Fever 2. He was bringing the three artifacts necessary to set the red spirit free, right when Klug was planning to. It’s unclear why the artifacts got into Klug’s hands, but it’s assumed that Lemres lost them on the way.
He’s also oddly nonchalant about explaining the situation to Amitie in her Harahara course.

@@cmyk8964 Correct, buuuut he doesn’t really… yknow… actually DO anything on his own, and he’s nowhere near as involved with P-Klug as Accord is with Popoi. Popoi for all intents and purposes IS part of Accord’s character now, while Lemres is pretty much his own guy all the time. So yeah Lemres was important to Fever 2 but it wasn’t really villainous or anything

Honestly, I think it's just Klug as a whole.
Personally, I see the idea of a "Satan/Ecolo character" less as a villain, but more of a psuedo 4th member of their respective ARS trios that takes an antagonistic role sometimes. Just instead of being incredibly powerful himself, Klug gets possessed by a powerful demon and acts as a conceited friendly rival in the meantime.

The way I see it, the reason why amitie does not have a main antagoinist because she is so enthusiastic, optimistic, and above all happy. Amitie doesnt need a antagonist to piss her off ❤❤❤

I always knew Lemres was rival material!
But yeah, Amitie stands out by not having a "Satan".

Lemres was paired with Satan and Ecolo in PPT2, so I can definitely see this idea, though I've always considered Accord to be the main "Villain" of the Primp Town world. She's just way less direct with it than Mr. "Make a giant tower to try and flirt with the girl I like" and Mx. "Will literally try to destroy all of creation for fun". But she's clearly cooking something.

Thing is it's not really about villainy the way I did things. Satan and Ecolo (Post-7 anyway). Aren't really villains. That's why I'm so comfortable slotting Lemres in there.
But maybe I should've put dumb plan on my list of points to give out.
      - We aren't let into Accord and Popoi's mind if they had a dumb idea?
      - If Lemres wins 15th he turns the sea into jelly. That's really dumb.
      - P.Klug may've had something short-sighted in Quest, but I'm not counting that, his plan was very simple.

I feel Lemres and Amitie's dynamic is closer to Schezo and Arle than Satan and Arle

Great video I love the points you made in it especially for Lemres as I never even had the thought of him being the Satan/Ecolo for Amitie. Although imo I still see Ms Accord as the "villain" of Primo Town. She's not evil but she definitely does certain things that are odd and suspicious. She's definitely the least evil of the three. Also I like to thing that the Fever cast does their ARS and villain differently as Sig wasn't even in Fever 1, so therefore their villain can be different and the first female one too.

I do like that Ally and Atari's respective antagonists don't really fit the Satan/Ecolo mold either, but we haven't seen enough of Rafisol and the Time Paradise duo to truly confirm it, I guess.

Of course this isn't canon but I think Strange Klug isn't evil, he just wants what humanity took from him. If you look at Sig, his "neutral" half you can see that when relevant Sig likes to help out, showing capacity of good will. This could imply the the potentially *purple* demon wasn't bad and as humanity often does they either poke and prod at what is anomalous or downright kill or seal it. I think he's an anti-villain that probably just has a grudge against the majority of mankind.

I think that's a common view on him. And it I like it too. There's enough evidence about he's maybe not that bad.

at the level of importance I do consider Lemres at the same level as Satan and Ecolo. Quite simply, if there is someone who deserves to be together with those two, it is Lemres. It's just that it's so weird to say that Lemres is to Amtie what Satan is to Arle. In the same way that it could not be said that Lemres is for Raffina what Satan is for Rulue (since Raffina and Rulue are identical). Although quite funny if you think about whether it could be said that Lemres is to Feli what Satan is to Rulue. I think that with the latter it is already confirmed that Lemres is the Satan of fever. It's just that he's an altruistic boss instead of a self-centered one.

    • @kirbyvskirby

Part of my point in the video is that while he's the most likely candidate, the parallels between Madou and Fever characters are there, but they shouldn't be defined by who they're paralleling or took inspiration from.
That's why while I think Lemres is the most likely candidate and why I want him in that role, it's still kinda slamming square peg in a round hole. Heck there might not even be a round hole yet we're still attempting to slam it in.
