Tbh I started playing both at the same time, and what I could tell from them is that Fortnite is being ruined... Epic Games made the game simpler by removing fun stuffs and graphic details, ironically what users receive from them is poorer optimization and less fun. It became heavier but graphics got worse, a lot of fun things are removed now we don't even have a single car in our match to drive through the whole huge map. Only helicopters and boats. However PUBG has great optimization and realistic graphics. I still love the concept of both games, but Fortnite is really getting worse and a lot of users complain about this too.

Pubg doesnt have an events.
Fortnite have events ans seasons.
Vechicles:
Pubg have only- bike, car and boat.
Fortnite have a plane, ball, helicopter, boat, car, airboard.
Pubg have Islands but, they are the same but with different bioms.
Fortnite have volcanos, forest, ice field, and water.
Pubg have- different gamemodes, they are interesting,
Fortnite have game modes too.
Pubg is just a battle royale with 30 or more emotes, and guns.
But Fortnite have a building, 3000 emotes, and events.
MY OPINION!!!
