To comment on the open ending thing: I think Inception is an example of a good open ending while The Sopranos is an example of one done less well. With Inception, the entire plot is about dreams and not knowing, ephemeral stuff: the ending is earned because the movie builds up to it. Aside from "you probably don't even hear it when it happens" there is just suggestion for Tony's fate. A few more scenes where Tony is jumping at shadows or hyper vigilant would have helped because even if he wasn't killed, that was gonna be the rest of his life anyway. Since the nature of a television series demands years of dedication, I think the audience earns more explanation than David Chase shrugging and going "I dunno..."
what you called the movie inception weird ? its one of the greatest movies of that time. it had a perfect storyline and absolutely amazing acting oO plus its a real thing it is possible to change dreams i do that sometimes when i notice im dreaming.
