One of the most underrated Coldplay songs. The "Ghost Stories" album is so underrated in my opinion. Yes it had hit singles like "Magic" and "A Sky Full Of Stars" but there is a lot of great songs on the album. The "Ghost Stories" album is an amazing album that you can play from start to finish without skipping one song. :)

This is one of the most important reasons why I've become such a huge Coldplay fan.. in time where incorporating sex, drugs and alcohol is regarded as 'a must' in music videos, they boldly made an outstanding, stand out from the rest single video! They are indeed one of the best 21st world bands out there IMO.

why is everyone so confused about the concept? it is very straightforward. no, this is not making fun of fat people. it is about how a lot of times we feel outcasted, alone, and unlovable, yet there are still people out there that will love us for who we are. i know the message sounds cheesy and cliché the way i said it but i think in this video, they are touching on something profound and beautiful.

Chris confirmed in several interviews that this is not their last album. They feel like there is still a lot of songs they want to write together and they're best friends that love working together. When Chris compared their AFOD album to the end of the Harry Potter series, he just meant that writing the album felt like that kind of catharsis for them, it was like the end of a long chapter in their career and they want to just sit and enjoy it, tour, do good things with their fame, etc. before going back to the studio. They never gave themselves a real break before that... they would write and album and go right back into the studio to write and record the next few. The media miscontrued things and spun it into this big rumor... I even believed it (and panicked) for a long time until I saw Chris's recent interviews.

i dont think the video was meant to represent the struggles of being fat, but rather, the struggles of being *different*. I think the suits meant to be an obstacle, preventing them from achieving their dreams. At the end, they realise that they are similar, and that they also have a common dream to pursue together.
