Never pay for one of these. I pay 5,000 from my doctors office had another surgery done went to use it and its locked appropriately it automatically locks after 365 days because its disposable.... like what? 5000 to throw away if I would have know I would not of paid for it.
Keep in mind that this advertisement is brought to you by the makers of this device. And as another commenter pointed out, it stimulates bone growth (particularly fusion) which is impartial to WHICH bones in the area it promotes growth of (ie: bone spurs, Osteophytes, etc). Just be careful with such a device and if you cant monitor it's effects on a bi-monthly basis, I would be weary. Also, this device shouldn't cost more than $1000 with a good buffer of profit, in fact $300-$500 would be much more realistic. Unless proper min. 2 year blind studies are conducted, with proper candidate selection, take this with a grain of salt. Take care and stay healthy!
I have to disagree respectfully they have been wonderful for me and offered to drive to my home and show me how to use it. Was not needed as it’s very self explanatory
GEZZA1 Good point. Just started mine today. I hope my bone spurs don't get worse. Ugh. Sick of pain...I am desperate for anything that will get my life back.
@@durandtopping3023 my doctor claimed it healed. But darn I don't know if I already need another fusion in another location or what? My back is messed up from Osteoporosis and Lupus, malnutrutrion from medically induced anorexia plus who knows what else. Maybe my hip is bad, I need to get another MRI in before my fully paid out of pocket of $6k starts over on Jan 1st. All I know is I am tired of back pain. Heck you could borrow mine if you end up having to pay out of pocket. They sure are not cheap. I think they are definitely over $2k+.
@@durandtopping3023 oh btw, I only wore mine like 2 to 3 months. 9 months is a lot longer than what I had to. Is your back pretty messed up or multiple levels fused? Dang. I feel bad for you.
@@heartmomma6460 I hope you are doing better. My Dr. Wants me to use this, but I just had surgery last week and I am in alot of pain morphine doesn't take away the pain my back injury was due to cancer. My question is if this hurts wearing it. Im so tired of all this pain and plus Im in quimo and the shots I take make my bones hurt even worst..

Happy mine was FREE from a friend who had the same surgery as me on the same disc and same doctor. His success was great so maybe mine will be as well.
Insurance has paid for mine and I am being monitored monthly by my surgeon. I just pray for a solid fusion. 👍
This company is horrible. No patient help no help had to come to TH-cam to get the help I need! Drs office no help!

shame on Orthofix for artificially locking device after 1 year
What does this mean ? I live abroad and just bought one off eBay ? Should be okay long as it’s charging right ?
this is rubbish.
how is this going to affect damaged vertebra when bone spurs grow and then cause more nerve root damage?
