- This is my rustler vxl with a new velineon stock 3500 kv motor,
i'm running a 2s 4700Mah 20c li-po battery (premium power) with Deans plugs. I think it really rips!! I have stock tires on the front and anaconda's on the rear. Please feel free to comment and rate this stuff, hope you like it...!!! I shot it with a sony cybershot p10 digital still camera.

First run with the new stock 3500kv Velineon motor after i busted the first motor. I'm using 2s 4700Mah 20c li-po at 50/50 setting on the transmitter. Please comment and rate my stuff.. Hope you like it !!! I sure do myself.....
speed really depends on what batts you use, more voltage means more speed. If you're not racing, the rustler is a good durable truck.

I didn't know that , thanks for the info fathead431, and yes i'm sure that's a 2s lipo, the brand is premium power. So you are not that impressed by the speed? I think it rips !
just so you know, the 50/50 on the transmitter just variates the amount of reverse you want, not the speed. if you click it to 70/30, it gives you less reverse, but the same amount of forward. youll have to recalibrate the esc after you put it on 70/30.
the 50% mode is inside the esc. follow instructions in the manual to use it.
are you sure thats 2s lipo like oyu said?? looks more like 3s to me...
oh, and going easy on the motor when its new wont increase its lifespan. its not like brushed motors. this is brushless. just make sure you keep temperatures below 90°c (180°f) because any higher and youll demagnetize the rotor, ruining the motor

absolutely not my friend, this is the only lipo i own and i even use it with stock gearing!!!
