  • Since Christmas, around a dozen cars have been stolen from this small bush town of 3500, including a NSW Ambulance vehicle. Some have been torched while others have been used in rams-raids on local businesses, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. So concerned have residents become that the Chamber of Commerce recently called a community meeting; more than 150 people attended, desperate for solutions.

    Breaks my heart to see this. Condo is my hometown. The people here are good beautiful people.

    Australians should be able to take every measure to defend their families and their homes AND NOT be prosecuted. The innocent people did not go out and hurt others. The innocent are being harmed. Those who prey on others should not be protected and the criminals really punished and not be given a slap on the wrist, whatever their age or their race/ethnicity.

    Country police are often lazy, useless and uncaring. Lack of patrols, lack of response and concern are major issues in country NSW. Bring back National Service!
