How To Make Delicious Homemade Butter in Just 10 MINUTES!

  • Homemade Butter: A Delicious and Versatile Kitchen Staple.
    While store-bought butter is convenient, it lacks the unique flavors and freshness that homemade butter brings to the table. Making your own butter at home is not only surprisingly easy but also allows you to create a personalized and all-natural product that is free from additives and preservatives. Whether you are an experienced cook or a beginner in the kitchen, exploring the world of homemade butter opens up endless possibilities for culinary creativity.
    You can further customize your homemade butter by incorporating various flavors. Consider adding herbs, spices, garlic, honey, or even dried fruits to create a unique taste that suits your preferences. The options are truly endless!
    Ingredients:
    6 cups of heavy whipping cream
    Yields: 1.35 lbs. of “Homemade Butter”
    Directions:
    Add all the heavy whipping cream to a stand mixer.
    Start whipping the heavy cream on medium speed until it thickens, for about 4 minutes.
    Increase the speed to high and continue to whip for another 6 - 7 minutes.
    When the butter from the milk, this step is completed.
    Strain the milk from the homemade butter using a cheese cloth or a strainer.
    Wash any leftover milk reside from the homemade butter in an ice bath. This will prolong the shelf life of the homemade butter.
    Package the butter to your liking.
    The homemade butter can be refrigerated for up to 14 days.
    Freeze what you cannot consume within 14 days for future use.

    If you have a supply of inexpensive cream, then this is great! I don't, and the only people who do own cattle. Otherwise, save yourself fron having to wash dishes and just wait for it to go on sale, get it, and put it in the freezer. It does absorb smells after a few months, so invest in a vacuum sealer if you take advantage of sales. I bought a chest freezer a few years back, so nice
