S M O O T H ! They make a fine machine. I ran one a bit but it was a tad bigger than yours and had a 3 foot rock bucket. It'd get a bit tipsy but you had to have it all the way out. Nothing to be worried about if you paid attention. I sometimes got the job of cleaning out settling ponds at the boulder hole with a 320 Cat or 300 Komatsu or maybe a long boom 320. Most of the time I did it with the front window open. I was used to a dragline with no window at all so you learn fast what a SPLAT will do. The other guys had the machine one big mud ball. Not me. Thanks, Griz and the camera person did a fine job and you did too! I just got through digging a 6 foot deep hole, 18 feet wide and 35 feet long with an 8035 JCB with an 18 inch bucket. Poor old hoe but it did a fine job. Wore me out more than once!
Thanks Lewie...we used to play in this mud in the river as kids we virtually lived in the river in the summer hols, getting dirty as a kid don't do much harm builds the immune system up
