Charice is still my favorite Filipino artist. She sings with so much emotions and soul and the clarity of her voice is amazing. It doesn’t seem like she’s screaming or yelling like others especially with the high notes. She has one of the best national anthem live performance with Whitney and Mariah in my opinion.

We have to note that Charice was 15-23 years old shown here. 23 singing Through the fire and 15 singing You'll Never Walk Alone. Charice was really beyond her age and she really left a mark that paved way for talents during late 2000's, and early 2010's. All of Charice's performances was excellent and songs she released was meaningful.

In this case, Katrina and Regine beat Charice in her renditions of those songs (but charice beats them in other songs). Charice narrowly beats Morisette in that song because it seems Charice sang it cleaner and I felt she had more control and passion than Morisette. To me, I felt that Charice was singing to express while Morisette was singing to impress. Charice definitely beats the rest without a doubt in those renditions (but Beyoncé has some versions that definitely outshines Charice).

there was no "before she was transgender".. transgender people are born the way they are, only self-discovery may manifest late because of social pressure to conform to gender binary roles. Jake has always been a transgender man since birth, but the world forced him to live as a girl just because they know nothing about gender fluidity.
