Standard deliveries have enough time built in that allows me to drive the DOT limit of 11 hours per day and still complete the delivery on time. To control the time of day I use the developer command “g_set_time” command. For example, after refueling and settling in at a rest stop, I use “g_set_time 21” to advance the time to 9:00 PM and then start the 10-hour rest period, starting the next day at 7:00 AM. If you are driving 14-hours per day, this should work fine.
Ah, this is helpful, thanks! I wasn't aware of the console command to do that. I might use that for the drive to Alaska. But what happens if you are really tired at say 6pm, then advance the time to 9pm? Do you suffer the effects of being tired for the 3 hours you skipped?
Awesome, thanks! This is helpful. I'm going to think about whether I can use this or just turn off exhaustion for the long drive to Alaska. So I can drive most of it in daylight for the videos.
If you use trucky, you should be able to make a trip all the way to Alaska in one trip if you wanted. You can pick what city to start in, destination city, and what cargo you want. Just something to think about.
@@ZillaBlitzPC no, just google trucky and I believe it should pop up. TH-cam will be your friend to learn how to use it. I just started using it a few weeks ago and it’s really cool!
Any chance you'd be willing to head up the east coast of Florida, up to Daytona Beach or so? I'm curious if they modeled any of my old stompin' grounds.
Personally, my last profile I created, I started all the way down in Venezuela, so it would kinda be fun to see you go to Alaska all the way from there, but Key West works too haha.
@@ZillaBlitzPC I think that's the same issue as those disconnected cities. They have future content planned there but made the region names accidentally visible. There's only a few cities in Venezuela currently but they work fine.
They're made by random fans and groups of people who like the game. I don't know the details on how they are made, but I think that graphics are a mix of custom-made ones and ones that come from the base game and DLCs. That's why most of them require the base game and the DLCs, as they are using assets from those resources.
If you haven't visited Jamaica I would highly, highly recommend Couples Negril for a vacation. Amazing place.
Thanks! I'd definitely like to go, and once our kids get through college I think trips like that will be more possible. :)

Windies was really, excellent views and scenery and another major journey in line. Many thanks.
This was really a fun trip, yes. And I'm looking forward to seeing what other parts of the Caribbean looks like too.
Now that's a journey I want to take... beautiful. I think I'm going to get Canada, Coast to Coast, Caribbean, and maybe Alaska. Great video.,
Good choices! I'm going to work on a Coast-to-Coast tutorial video next. :)
cool, I'll be there@@ZillaBlitzPC
They have nailed the colour of the sea in the Keys and look of the buildings. Just a gorgeous drive!!
I totally agree, just a really fun drive. :)
AMAZING! The work put into this is outstanding what a great drive!
Really fun time, yes, one of my favorite drives in the game so far. :)
Wow went to key west for the first time in august they did a great job with this mod
Interesting to hear, I was wondering how it compares to reality, as I haven't been there for a long time. It's a fun drive in the game. :)

@@ZillaBlitzPC After advancing time I Immediately rest. As long as you don’t move there will be no penalty.

Thanks, I'll check it out. :)
Kingston is very nice.
Tricky little drive in there, yes, but fun. :)
Nice i really like that mod. BTW how do you get your headlight so bright? i cant hardly see at night driving. Thanks
The mod is really sharp, yes. I almost always drive with my hi-beams on, that helps quite a bit. Otherwise I have the same issue as you. :)
"Aruba, Jamaica..." :D
Ha! I should really sing that song in an episode, but I'd probably lose 1k subscribers if I sing. :)
Barrow, Alaska is the northern most point in the USA.
Unfortunately, you can't drive there, flying or dog sled, are your options.
Yes, that makes sense. :) Prudhoe Bay looks like the most north we can go with our truck. :)

I'll see if I can detour east a bit when we go north! :)
What a great series video really enjoyed it. Is that coast to coast mod a paid mod and is it easy to install in the game?
It's free, and it installs the same as any other map mod. So yes, it's pretty easy.
Personally, my last profile I created, I started all the way down in Venezuela, so it would kinda be fun to see you go to Alaska all the way from there, but Key West works too haha.
Does Venezuela work? The map was a bit messed up. :)

Thanks! I'm going to try to get either there or Puerto Rico for the next delivery. :)
I saw the worlds rarest car in mysore india yesterday.
Awesome!
This is the longest video by Mike.
It did get a bit long there, but sometimes long is good. :)
Who makes these mods do they use the same tools and graphics as scs

Bro I am to broke to buy all of the dlc for mod maps 😭
They go on sale a big discounts quite often, so definitely wait for a sale before getting them. :)
So Boca Raton down to Key West is fully the Caribbean Map. They use some assets from C2C but they rebuilt everything.
Aha, I was wondering about that, thanks! :)
