Loving your uploads as I’m having terrible troubles with my lady parts! I have never suffered with any issues within my 61 years on this earth apart from the last 11 years after I started my menopause. I have had that constant itch that drives me up the bloody walls day in day out. Night time is worse which wakes me up once I get off to sleep which is very rare as since I started the menopause when I hit 50 my sleep disruption is ridiculous! I can gone days without sleep, but I am also dead on my feet but sleep just won’t come. My itch is not internal or even inside the labia but on the outside, and I live on a daily dose of antihistamine and hydrocortisone cream to keep it at bay. Unless you have experienced “the itch” it is hard to describe, it literally drives you mad. You just have to scratch it, it’s so hard to explain. Please help us over 50’s or post menopausal women from going insane and giving us some form of quality of life once our ovaries decide to flee the nest. Many thanks ❤
Watching this feels weird because just a few weeks ago I re-watched your previous video on how to wash vulvas where you specifically said it was /necessary/ to always use soap to wash them.
Hi, in my previous video I used the word ‘soap’ generically (in lay terms) to mean a cleansing product in a bar form. However I had so any queries about ‘soap’ and also people didn’t understand what I meant by ‘soapless soaps.’ So in this video, I made a better distinction to clarify things. Soap (contains soap surfactants) - can be drying for the vulva. (I don’t recommend, because I think there are better options. In this video I call this ‘traditional soap’ because of my experience from my last video.) Cleansing bars (also called ‘soap’ by many people) contain synthetic detergents - these are milder on the vulval skin. These are called ‘soapless soaps’ if they only contain synthetic detergents and they are called combination bars if they combine soap surfactants + synthetic detergents. Hope this clarifies things and thank you for asking the question. 😊
Oh no! See below- I’ve just clarified. It can be confusing because different people use different names e.g soaps, cleansers, soapless soaps, cleansing bars, beauty bars, syndet bars, combination bars etc.. I hope I made it clearer below. I’ll also pin a comment above! 😊
@@DrSimiAdedeji Ah okay, thank you for clarifying :) Maybe you could link this video at the end or in the description of the previous one, so people know which products you mean.
Hey doctor Simi, I took the second COVID-19 vaccine booster (this is in total my 4th COVID-19 vaccine). Since January I get my period and a week will past by but I get like discharge in a form of blood, then all of a sudden I will bleed. The same thing is happening to me now. I was folding clothes today and I suddenly felt sick and wet. I went to the bathroom. I am bleeding. I called my doctor and next week Monday I have an appointment. Being a woman is amazing but hard! My gosh 😩😩😩 Please make a video of irregular period.
Hi doc. Thank you very much for the information provided. Can you please confirm if men should use the same products? Are there products for them? It is necessary?
I usually use Vanicream sensitive face wash or cetaphil gentle face wash and haven’t had any issues. I recently started using dial antibacterial soap (the white bar) when Mother Nature comes to town and I feel extra clean. Of course it does NOT go inside of the vaginal canal just the outside
great idea to use Cetaphil gentle face wash on face and all parts! Summer's Eve liquid soap was non allergic but the Cetaphil is cheaper and just as mild! One product, love that! Also the CVS brand of Cetaphil looks exactly the same and is the same.

Thank you for the video, I appreciate it so much. I've been using my regular shower gel (nivea, dove) for my intimate area. I haven't experienced any inconveniences ever. Would you still recommend using for example Dove baby instead of my regular shower gel? 🤔 Thank you.
Amazing thanks for the information, I am thrilled to see all of the break down so we have a better understanding. Thanks
Hi Dr simi, today is my first time coming across a page, and I am so glad I subscribe, I have 3 girls , ages 10, 8 & 3. Teaching them how to take good care of the special part , but now I am going to introduce you to them ,so they can understand how important it is to take care of themselves.

Cleansing with an emollient is very appealing to me. I may give this a try!👩🏾🎓
Thank you! ⭐️ Can you share what you learnt that was new? 🤓
Watching this feels weird because just a few weeks ago I re-watched your previous video on how to wash vulvas where you specifically said it was /necessary/ to always use soap to wash them.
Right! I get confused everyday😅
She still says to use soap, but use certain types of soap or cleansers
Hi, in my previous video I used the word ‘soap’ generically (in lay terms) to mean a cleansing product in a bar form. However I had so any queries about ‘soap’ and also people didn’t understand what I meant by ‘soapless soaps.’ So in this video, I made a better distinction to clarify things.
Soap (contains soap surfactants) - can be drying for the vulva. (I don’t recommend, because I think there are better options. In this video I call this ‘traditional soap’ because of my experience from my last video.)
Cleansing bars (also called ‘soap’ by many people) contain synthetic detergents - these are milder on the vulval skin.
@@DrSimiAdedeji Ah okay, thank you for clarifying :)
Maybe you could link this video at the end or in the description of the previous one, so people know which products you mean.
I use feminelle nurturing wash.. it's an oriflame product.
Hey doctor Simi,
I took the second COVID-19 vaccine booster (this is in total my 4th COVID-19 vaccine).
I have also had abnormal periods after taking the second dose of the vaccine after having normal periods my whole life.
Hope everything works out for you ❤
👩🏽🎓heading to the store now!
So, I have been using Dial, then Summer’s eve!! Omg!!!
This is great... Like the Barbie animation 😅😂
Thank you.for sharing about how to wash the vulva,,I always use the Dove Soap white
Your English comprehension is extremely excellent
That is so helpful and educational. Thanks a million doctor ! 🌹
Hello Dr Simi! I have a question, can't any kind of these soaps cause infertility problems? Is it safe to use them?
