Kassie, I chose to return to some of your older videos. I really needed to see this because the amount of effort I put into school last year was shameful. This video inspired me just like you always have. Wow, I seriously love you. I am so grateful I have a role model as great as you are. Being guided by you has only changed me in positive ways 💙
I'm actually doing the same thing. this year I did terribly on my report card and was extremely disappointed in myself. hope this helped you because I'm going to start doing this once school starts again. :)
You are such a good role model. Most young people just drag their hangover through till thursday and get drunk on friday again. Energetic, positive young people with work ethic are rare :-* you go girl
Kimberley O'Callaghan Same. I just watched a bunch of other ones, and none of them even come close to Cassie's. I came back and watched this one a second time just because it's that good.
Hlw are you guys now?i've been struggling with school lately because i've been lazy these past few weeks and i know its my fault.I will change my habits now😊
this is amazingly true. im currently in my third year of university and i couldn't agree more. surround yourself with people who actually enjoy studying and talk about course content is the best way of studying.
I'm 5 weeks out from final law exams in Australia and this video has made me feel a bit more positive and motivated to get on with some proper preparation! They're open book exams, however you're not going to do well if you don't know the material back to front and have your notes in order. I think these tips are really great :)
its even worse for left handed people who go to a school where only fountain pens are allowed.. honestly, whoever designed them has no consideration for lefties thanks alot, i'm going to go shopping for my new school supplies tommorow, this is a real help :)
Thank you for being so open in your advice and very suggestive in your giving of it! I really appreciate the clarity of your videos and your non-commanding tone. :) Thanks! Always helpful!
This video made me so nostalgic. I graduated from college a year ago, but I watched this anyway. Is it weird that I'm jealous of people who are still in school? (fellow nerd here, too)
Hey there, I just recently found you on TH-cam and I must tell you that you are quite the inspiration. I'm in love with all of your tips on organic items, natural ways to keep your skin and hair fresh, your healthy diet, yoga, etc. You're such a wise young woman and I admire you dearly. I must admit, you're very beautiful, so I expected you to be a makeup/hair guru solely (nothing wrong with that of course) but you shocked me, you are so intelligent and such a positive, optimistic individual, you really apply yourself. Your outlook on life itself inspires me. I was at Whole Foods this morning purchasing oils and cleansers you have recommended! I've been watching so many of your videos - even watching some of them over and over again (which I never do!). Your approach on videos is much different than most. Keep up the awesome work Kassie!
I just found you today on TH-cam, and to be quite frankly, you made me cry ,because you just sound like a little mother who truly cares for her children and wants them to do well in university. Thank you so much for the tips I will apply them all right now, as they all are A+ tips. Thank you so much
9:58 - definitely agree. I struggled so hard in high school and got told year after year that they weren't sure about passing me. And that was all due to the fact that I really did not care and did not put it in the effort. I felt extremely caged in, and the waking up at 6am and working until 3pm 5 days a week and being around groups of people I just did not gel with but was forced to be with did not work out very well for me. Now I'm at university doing animal science and am finally studying something that I care about in an environment that gives me a lot more freedom to plan my studying my way - so I put in a lot of effort, and as a result my grades are now fantastic.
This was amazing! I start this August college for my first time & I wasn't sure what to expect but this helped me to ensure myself on trying my best! Thanks beautiful!
Thank you for these awesome study tips! I do believe that natural ability plays a minor role in success but hard work is what makes all the difference and it's much more important than talent. Too bad a lot of students are manipulated to believe that being extra smart and having exceptional talent is the only way to succeed in school, therefore if they believe they don't have talent they accept their failure and don't try hard enough.
This comment is brilliant. Thank you so much for saying this. Seriously. As someone who isn't clever in a school of incredibly clever people, I really appreciate this :) Xx
Excellent tips. I just graduated from uni and these tips are exactly what I was doing. Develop open communication with your professors! Also, sit in front of the class! That way you aren't distracted by people using Facebook on their laptops during class.
Hi Kassie! I'm a university student teaching a course on how to survive your first year at the institution and I've searched high and low for articles and videos that describe great study habits without being commanding and your video is so perfect! I've shared it with my students and they've loved it too. Thank you so much for everything! You're absolutely amazing and I appreciate the time you take out of your days to do this for us.
I had to learn for a sociology test last semester and it was so boring, but telling myself "The nine steps of coding a computer-based survey are really interesting!" actually helped, it's amazing how it works^^ Loved this video :)
This video was SO extremely helpful! :) I'm going to be a freshman in college this year, and all the tips you provided in this video will most definitely benefit me through the year, so thank you!
This is one of the best tips ever. Like other videos just tell you highlight your work, use falshcards, do this do that. But at least you give the REAL sort of tip. And really helps. Im really lazy on maths because I dontike to practice and for science, I always dont understand the stuff even if I actually listen to that chapter and do my notes. I hope that this will help me for next year when I'm 15.. 0.0 :^)
Wow! Finally, a back to school video with some real substance! Thanks kassie. This made me dread school a little bit less, and motivated me to stay on top of things this year. The pay off is WORTH it!
Even though I'm only in high school this was very helpful, and by far the best study tips video I've seen. I still feel like no matter how hard I try I still don't get the best of grades maybe I'm just stupid.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm going into high school, and while I maintain good grades without studying, I want to show my teachers that I'm putting in effort, and I want a deeper understanding of the curriculum. I also think that your studying methods are ingenious.
This is such a great video. I am back to school after I graduated years ago and didn't do so well, I started studying something new by being highly motivated. I hope your dreams come true girl, you are very positive.
4 me you look like Regina George. Don't ask why. You are just so smart and beautiful. It's like your inner beauty isn't afraid of who we really are. I feel like you are just a beautiful mermaid with a tail to keep you going
I'm going into my first year of college & I'm watching this again. I watched it right before my senior year in high school too! So odd that I've been watching you for over a year now! Love yaaaa
MIlana! Congrats on going into your freshman year of college. The fact that you keep coming back to this video shows how much value you find in it which is awesome. What are you going to be majoring in, in college?
Being someone who got an F for math, and then a distinction in my final year, my advice is to practice really really hard. Math is probably the only subject that you can guarantee a distinction if u practice :) good luck!!!
This video is really great! Your communication style is approachable and you clearly explain your points in bite-sized pieces so it doesn't feel overwhelming. I am going to share it with my teen who is a 10th grader as I would like to motivate her to do her best and put in the study time. Thanks again.
I love listening to educated guru's on youtube. No disrespect but i find a lot of guru's on youtube aren't very academic and when it comes to study tips it almost seems as though they're making up stuff on the spot. I like you because you genuinely seem to know what you're talking about and you have some great tips! :-)
Watching this video while I'm writing my research paper for my current Uni course. I feel like it's lifted some of the tension I'm currently facing right now
I'll be a junior in High school this year, I just recently finished going on a four day college tour trip and I really want to go to Towson University in Maryland, so i'll have to get myself together this year. I really admire your intelligence and your love/ drive to be a really good student in school. I'm really inspired, I've been slacking in school majorly which is partly my fault. But this video is very helpful thanks so much.
I'm about to start college so I'm really glad you have this video. I didn't do my best in high school either and I will definitely use these tips to help me succeed in college. Watching this made me excited to start. Thank you so much Kassie! I love you and all of the great tips you post on your channel!
I would be very thankful if you could show my fellow college students and I how to care of ourselves as well as we can in college. I feel like college can be a very stressful environment. Particularly when you dorm on campus like having roommates that are unclean or into partying, having to eat cafeteria food, and being constantly bombarded with tons of tests, essays, and the like. Thank you so much for your videos. They have truly been helpful and I look forward to viewing more. :) Mahalo
This is the first video with actual GOOD study tips. I'm in my highschool senioryear but this is definitely going to help me. Thank you for making this video.
Hi Kassie :) thank you for your inspiration! I just wanted to give you a tip my history teacher told me (even though you're probably amazing at essays anyway!) It's called PEEL P-point E-explain E-example L-link It's one of those easy ways of remembering ^.^ Btw I'm also left handed and smudge when using pencils (AND pens!). What's a good pent to use which doesn't smudge so easily? Natasha x
I start University this year I'm studying Psychology and I was searching study tips because I'm so nervous ahah but I was so glad when I saw you have a video for study tips because I love your videos. You're always so honest and great at giving tips. Thank-you for this video I feel a bit more confident now :)
I looove school supplies! Even now that I'm not in school I still love pens, notebooks...etc. my friends laugh at me because I still write everything down in a calendar. Entering it in a digital device is just not the same as writing stuff down in a calendar!
Such an inspiring video~ so pleased you adressed the topic in this way, no one ever gave me the right way to study for tests & I also feel that my highschool that I'm in just expects us to know everything. You really have profoundly changed my dreams, no exagguration. I've always wanted to do fashion or go into theatrical arts because I'm good at it, but I was inspired this year to look at cosmetic science (creams, perfume etc) but its hard. Now I'm gonna study like hell! Thanks so much! ♥
When you said "thank you so much for watching," I was like "THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!" This was so helpful and inspiring--you are awesome, and please don't ever stop making videos :D
These study tips are going to help me in my final exams! I'm doing fine in school, but my tests never turn out as well as they should be bc I procrastinate and have test anxiety.. Having tips to study will help me a lot! Thanks :)
Thank you so much for making this video. I'm going to sophomore year in high school and I thought that taking advice from someone in college would really help. I'm super excited to try this out and see how exams go for me. Thank you so much again 😊💞.
This video was so helpful Kassie! thank you so much! I'm a freshman in high school and I was so nervous about study tips and yours made me feel less nervous!
This is great! Well, fyi, i think paying attention and asking questions in class would help too. Once you understand the basics in class, you wont have to cramp so much info in ur head which will never work in my opinion. Cheers!
Great tips, thanks a lot. I personly prefere to write down all my study plans like tests, exams or what to do on large sheet hanging on the wall or doors. It realy remindes we how much work is left to do (as I can see kit most if the time) and lets to plan everything in advance.
I saw this video when I started my Masters program, and kept these tips in mind. THANK YOU for your tips. You helped me get through this. Now I'm almost at the end :) xo
I find it pretty crazy that you have to pay for EVERYTHING in the us, we er it all for free In Denmark: textbooks, folders, binders, agendas whatever they give out even pencil and erasers. I mean it's all free
I pay the motherload too, I live in the Netherlands. Dayum, costs are high. I pay roughly 2000 euros a year to the school, and I am lucky to have an immortal laptop so I didn't have to replace it. 2000 euros don't include the supplies.
I'm not enrolled in University but I found your other videos very informative and inspiring and this was no exception. You sparked my interest in going back to school and getting my degree. Thank you!
You should try to make your studying more fun and probably study with friends too! Also eating while studying helps or playing quiet soft music! and for forgetting I like to mimic what im studying in my head over and over.! Hope it helps
I love love love all of your videos! Ever since i found you on youtube, the things i used to think is alright is not anymore and im changing my lifestyle slowly.Im so glad i found you on youtube. You will always have me as your youtube subscriber and fan! hehe.Good tips on all of your videos!Keep it all coming :D
hey i guess the video was pretty cool i guess i would suggest categorising because i think that if u have a chapter of 70 pages like us then you might want to maintain another diary for categorising.CATEGORISING means that u will find just 30 concepts in a chapter and write them down in the diary so if u have 12 chapters in a semester or even the book whole book u will act smart and say no its easy just very few concepts
I just started watching your videos like yesterday and I've gone through a ton of them. You have amazing advice on just practical everyday life.I had a struggle with my grade 11 year in high school and actually didn't get to grade 11 math and so it will be joined into my grade 12 year which I'll have to do grade 11 math and 12 math in one year and knowing your tip that calculus is extremely helpful to have I now know its best to take. You made everything so simple and very helpful, math i really struggled with in grade 10 which resulted in a failure and it was definitely because i didn't try hard. For math to come your tips really helped and can't wait to apply them. As a student I have a crazy life and schooling is just one of those things i try my best in but am just average at and by learning from you I think I can defiantly do my best this coming year with your tips and advice, Thank you Kassie ! C: P.S I don't tend to comment very often on other youtubers videos but this one was just a great and helpful video I just had to say something ! C:
Wow those were just about the best study tips i've ever heard. I found that y lot of things you said about multiple choice and mazhematics to work for me as well, and i do it like that. And i cant wait to try the one's for the essay questions
This was more informational than the the other back-to-school videos by other gurus. The others seem like ditz while you actually know what you're talking about :)
thank you thank you so much! i've always struggled a bit in high school and hearing this motivated me to do well. thank you for your advice and i will definitely share this video with friends! :)
hahaha I was thinking the saaame daamn thing!!! she's sooo brilliant she actually gives real and more in depth advice! she is definitelly THE BEST TH-camr I know and I knoow sooo manyy ! Share the loove for kassie
Hahha, I used to never study or listen to my teachers because I didn't really think I needed to. I don't know how I kept top marks. But come high school and college, II learned my lesson, and now have to study more frequently! Thanks for the helpful video!
Oh my! I've watched every video of yours. And I'm addicted! You are such an amazing person! I can learn from you a whole bunch of things! Thank you for your information! Now I know how little I knew in areas that I thought might be fine :)
I think this is the best study tip type video on TH-cam. Everyone else just says "keep a planner" or "highlight" or "use index cards." this is great
Kassie, I chose to return to some of your older videos.
Noor H same , did u Change he school habits now?
I feel exactly the same way! I really want to finish off school well. I’m only in year 9 but the earlier the better
You are such a good role model. Most young people just drag their hangover through till thursday and get drunk on friday again. Energetic, positive young people with work ethic are rare :-* you go girl
i swear this is my favourite study tips video
Kimberley O'Callaghan Same. I just watched a bunch of other ones, and none of them even come close to Cassie's. I came back and watched this one a second time just because it's that good.
I did the exact same!
Hlw are you guys now?i've been struggling with school lately because i've been lazy these past few weeks and i know its my fault.I will change my habits now😊
"If you hand in unstapled work then... that's just rude."
Kassieee XD
this is amazingly true. im currently in my third year of university and i couldn't agree more. surround yourself with people who actually enjoy studying and talk about course content is the best way of studying.
I'm 5 weeks out from final law exams in Australia and this video has made me feel a bit more positive and motivated to get on with some proper preparation! They're open book exams, however you're not going to do well if you don't know the material back to front and have your notes in order. I think these tips are really great :)
Awh,i hope you passed!I have exam next week😊
its even worse for left handed people who go to a school where only fountain pens are allowed.. honestly, whoever designed them has no consideration for lefties
thanks alot, i'm going to go shopping for my new school supplies tommorow, this is a real help :)
OMG, these topics are all I've been talking about lately! Great *educational* video! Love it!
I still use everything that she uses here... her advice just never becomes irrelevant! Its magic! Like if u agree.
I always look forward to your videos! You're so positive and put me on a good note :) Please keep the videos coming
I just found your videos and I love your personality! Your study tips are amazing and make me excited to do well this year!
As a student, this will always be one of my favourite videos from your channel. I keep coming back to it!! :)
This was amazingly helpful!!! I really need to make some changes on my studying habits and this was perfect. Thank you so much!
This video was SO extremely helpful! :) I'm going to be a freshman in college this year, and all the tips you provided in this video will most definitely benefit me through the year, so thank you!
Good luck on your freshman year in high school. It must be so exciting for you. What did you decide to major in?
This is one of the best tips ever. Like other videos just tell you highlight your work, use falshcards, do this do that. But at least you give the REAL sort of tip. And really helps. It'd be amazing if you did another video on how to write essays. This video helped me so much more than a lot of others I've watched. Please.
You make me excited for next semester and want to try my best. This helps :)
Thank you I'm only in 7th grade but it helps in social studies

These tips are so helpful and it has taken away a lot of anxiety that I had towards entering college for the first time thank you so much!

It's called PEEL

Thank you for all the tips and advices! I honestly found you so inspirational!
This video was so helpful Kassie! thank you so much! I'm a freshman in high school and I was so nervous about study tips and yours made me feel less nervous!

I saw this video when I started my Masters program, and kept these tips in mind. THANK YOU for your tips. You helped me get through this. Now I'm almost at the end :) xo
I love how you talk so intelligently!
I find it pretty crazy that you have to pay for EVERYTHING in the us, we er it all for free In Denmark: textbooks, folders, binders, agendas whatever they give out even pencil and erasers. I mean it's all free
Lucky! In the US next to nothing is free. You have fees for things you never even use
Shahiar Waisi wow i have to pay hundreds of dollars each semester for textbooks
I pay the motherload too, I live in the Netherlands. Dayum, costs are high. I pay roughly 2000 euros a year to the school, and I am lucky to have an immortal laptop so I didn't have to replace it. 2000 euros don't include the supplies.
i'm in grad school and this helps! i've been obsessed with your channel. you're amazing!!

I'm starting college next month. Thank you for this video. So helpful!
hey i guess the video was pretty cool i guess i would suggest categorising because i think that if u have a chapter of 70 pages like us then you might want to maintain another diary for categorising.CATEGORISING means that u will find just 30 concepts in a chapter and write them down in the diary so if u have 12 chapters in a semester or even the book whole book u will act smart and say no its easy just very few concepts
Awwh this is the first video of your's that I've seen, I love your personality and you are absolutely stunning, subscribed. :')
Wow those were just about the best study tips i've ever heard. I found that y lot of things you said about multiple choice and mazhematics to work for me as well, and i do it like that. And i cant wait to try the one's for the essay questions
