My goodness those coin pushers are addictive! I reckon with the way that $20 note was in there, it's quite possible you'd push the coins off the top of it but then more coins would get in the way. I hope there isn't any riggage involved in that game. You easily put like $20 worth of quarters through that machine in the chase of glory.

Once played a carnival coin pusher, started with $100. With the cash i won and reinvested as well as the prizes i got when i turned in chips i got collectible coins that were graded worth $20,000. I got morgans, ike, susans, peaces, indian heads wheat pennies mint lincolns, mercuries v, bffaloes and bicentennial quarters. Which when i took them in to be graded they were all total $20,000. I drew quite a crowd for that machine and in return the vendor gave me bonus quarter, and put chips close to edges. It was a long night and took me nearly 10hours of pushing to tally up that much. At the end of the night he also gave me a few indian heads wheats and steels that were culls and not worth much. I amassed two coin collections for my kids for their future.

My guess is that 20.00 is always there taped to the edge to draw people that will spend between 5 and 10 dollars top make 10 to 15 dollars. It's ingenious maybe even illegal proving it would be difficult.

My brothers friend (a sheriff's deputy) just happened to be working the fair. I got him to come over and look at the pusher. He made the guy open it up and sure enough, the bills were taped down. He gave the guy a choice, give me all the bills in the machine and un-tape the rest, or he would confiscate the machine and the guy could take a trip to the County Jail. I walked away with $168.00 ! When I came back the next day, the machine was gone. If you find these cheats, get a cop. Most of the time they are working these fairs in uniform as an off duty detail.

If you going to get lucky you going to be out of Quarters put some weight behind it fill the machine up with atleast 8 to 10 quarters to rip those bills out of it in wods you cn't expect to put 1 at a time in it to push anything.
I watched enough of these to realize that hardly anybody gets their money back if they put $50 and they get $45 back the house wins and wins and wins and drops enough money to keep the dream alive very smart

The problem is that if you understand how electricity works, then you would know why coin pushers will not push heavy-ish amount of coins/money staked on each other.... the short answer is that the coins will only move the lighter path of coins thus making the coins that is being pushed move around the middle instead moving straight in its path, I recommend the far left or right side over the middle
That's only part of it... The side ports for the vendor are pretty much facing the pusher in the curved wells on each side, which continuously drops quarters and makes more gaps. Also, the back wall is uneven and most of the bottom edge is too high to catch on a single layer of quarters. There were several times you can see quarters going under it and not being pushed at all.
the bulged out sides work against you when going for the middle. it's obvious the carnies stack a ton of quarters on the 20 making it near impossible to get.
The 20 will never drop as it is being held in place by a lower level of coins that do not move. I pissed the carneys off when I showed a couple of people how the coins are leveled and only the top level moves, making it impossible for the large bills that are hanging to drop.

Don't fall for the hanging bills. They purposely place it at the end of the ledge. It won't move because while quarters leave quarters enter.

I think there are holes right in the middle, hidden from view by those bills. Makes no sense all the gaps on the lower level.

This machine is rigged. The upper tray is too fast, and the lower tray is too wide.
