I'm almost crying. I really hope they'll release this on Blu-Ray some day. It's such a revolutionary attraction, and a huge piece of Disney history. Even though it is corny as hell, and probably won't be missed by many, it'd be terrible to lose Captain EO forever.
I love Captain EO. Glad I got to see at Disneyland when they brought it back. Wish I could of saw it one more time. Hopefully they bring it back in the future even it's for a limited time.

I was there. We werent the last showing. Some guy and his son showed up after it was over. They played it again for them. I was with my brother. Girl sitting next to us was with her dad. I would have LOVED to have been there for this. I loved this show so much. I saw it from when it opened to when it closed. I was so happy when they brought it back so my child could see it! He loved it. I miss this sooo much!! It should have never left!

graytlo It got replaced by Disney and pixar short film festival, where you can watch short films that aren't new and have been seen before, Get a horse, La Luna, and for the birds. Get a horse i could see working with 3d effects but not for the birds or la luna
I remember I saw this a couple years ago in Epcot and it was the best thing ever. I didn’t even realize it was closing at the time I was 15. One of the best memories I’ll ever have.

I was soo lucky, happy, and blessed to be able to see it at Disneyland! I wish I could see it one more time. 😭😭😭😭😭 or maybe they’ll release it on blue ray, but nothing beats the true experience, which I’m soo glad I got!! I would totally go back if they brought it back again in the future, even if it’s not in the near future.

+Dankrupt The theater was to the left of Imagination's entrance. It had Captain EO back in the 80s then turned into Honey I Shrunk the Audience and then back to Captain EO.

+Dankrupt They closed "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" and put EO back in the year MJ died, and it's been in there with a short interruption for the previews of "Tomorrowland" in May ever since. No idea what's going in there next, but I'm guessing they'll use it for previews until they figure out something more permanent.
Orangi I saw it as a child, I also went on its a small world as a child but would rush back to see that too. bit like Universal getting rid of back to the future and Jimmy Newtron ride. they became out dated
We done captain EO this past year before closure and the 3D was so old , it hurt my eyes and I started to get sick from it . It was really out dated bad .
