Sorry but thats what made me love Vanoss and the boys for years. There really hasn't been anything that consistent that's made me laugh that hard. I love all their content so much. Getting me to laugh hard nowadays is harder so I appreciate being able to go back and look at old shit and then now seeing recent stuff that reminds me of the old stuff. I think it's best to recognize if something is just a failed/bad joke and nothing else. Some people nowadays get so worked up by a bad joke that they make ridiculous accusations on a person. At best just say the person/joke is not funny and move on. I feel like these bad jokes are specifically made just to get a reaction, doesn't matter if they are actually good or funny. And I can see why it can get annoying at times.

The other group members can say what they want but the gamer-style comedy is what made their channels in the 2010s and Vanoss going back to that style is getting him more views while channels like Moo’s are falling off because of censorship.

It's been really refreshing honestly. Back when I first caught Vanoss (before TH-cam really age restricted stuff and allowed children to watch that without an account) and the guys that came later it was just them going nuts in Black Ops lobbies and saying what they wanted. It's nice to see that kinda humor coming back after so many years of them having to tone it down from becoming famous. I just wish the bros didn't have to fully watch what they say. The magical ways they could turn racist stereotypes into humor was amazing.

i believe the reason Evan isn’t as built is bc back then he was playing hockey and his position needed him to be strong asl and when yt took off and he moved from canada he fell off from working out intensely. granted i’m sure he still works out but not as much as he would if he still played hockey.
See Evan also has his own music producing company (I think he owns it or atleast is major shareholder) and Rynx. Not sure if he still makes his own stuff but he has other revenue sources so he's not fucked over if he gets cancelled on TH-cam.

From what the Vanoss Crew actually says about Evan it's pretty safe to say that Evan is a good guy and friend everyone involved. Even when people like Ohm and Mini Ladd were bashing the Crew and spreading allegations he refused to participate in a back and fourth banter and just messed around with it. I initially thought he did Edgy jokes to take blame from his Friends since he doesn't give a shit about any of the drama but he's instead making a statement against all of the restrictions and family-friendly forced content that TH-cam has become nowadays, including the internet as a whole. TH-cam was never meant to be a Broadcast all kid-friendly content, it's meant to broadcast yourself and maybe your friends having fun together.
As much as I love Vanoss being himself with the edginess because the content does get hard to watch as I get older, without those jokes, it feels a little too "This stuff is too immature when it's just spectating" (content making is different, you have a reason to be immature) so those jokes are appreciated because it doesn't feel as childish. But when GTA 6 comes out I'm expecting a big resurgence in their channels. IMO they bottled RDR2 RP/ GTA V RP massively considering it fits their content so well (I recommend Cheetohead, very similar content for that stuff). So Vanoss should take it carefully for the next 1-2 years when GTA 6 is out as he'll most likely be getting massive attention again with a completely new generation.

Vanoss is the only member of the group who could get cancelled and financially survive or at least be comfortable doing other things.
The other group members can say what they want but the gamer-style comedy is what made their channels in the 2010s and Vanoss going back to that style is getting him more views while channels like Moo’s are falling off because of censorship.
so true, granted i don’t think Moo’s channel is falling off, i think it’s extra funny when he gets uncomfortable with the edgy jokes. adds a bit more humor to the joke being said imo.
It's been really refreshing honestly. Back when I first caught Vanoss (before TH-cam really age restricted stuff and allowed children to watch that without an account) and the guys that came later it was just them going nuts in Black Ops lobbies and saying what they wanted. It's nice to see that kinda humor coming back after so many years of them having to tone it down from becoming famous.
I just wish the bros didn't have to fully watch what they say. The magical ways they could turn racist stereotypes into humor was amazing.

@@dyphrex Oh for sure, brands are super picky about people and you really have to act to their standards to keep that deal. Plus TH-cam has been really bad the past couple years too. They're all kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place along with a lot of other people on the platform

@@dyphrex Hopefully, some of the bigger ones like Vanoss and Delirious could probably quit at any time just because of how much they've made over the years, but the other guys may end up struggling. If I remember correctly it was like 2 years ago that Scotty finally was able to do YT full time. Even just 4 years ago Vanoss only ever did sponsors for things he actually liked, now he kinda just takes whatever for videos that may end up getting hit by YT. I feel bad for them honestly, must suck not being able to just be yourselves in your own videos

I feel like vanoss is exactly what we get when people say"the show grew up with them", people started as teens watching him and now they are adults, so he in turn started making more edgy adult comedy which is nice

I think it’s not just the fact he’s getting less views, but also since those who stick with him despite the amount of views, his fans grew up with him, he can’t just kinda stick on that old jokes, cause most of his fans are close or already adults, so it’s like who cares
and both sides win. Evan and the guys get to be themselves more while us (the fans) get to see that side of them and to know them as people.

I think a big part of it too is that while everyone was off being cancelled left and right for being problematic. Vanoss is one of the few youtubers who is C L E A N. No controversies, no predatory actions, no skeletons in the closet. Just pure unadulterated dark humour. Which, as a fellow Canadian, I can vouch that we're all fucked up and broken like that LMAO

i believe the reason Evan isn’t as built is bc back then he was playing hockey and his position needed him to be strong asl and when yt took off and he moved from canada he fell off from working out intensely. granted i’m sure he still works out but not as much as he would if he still played hockey.

yeah it mostly flies through people’s head that Evan financially is well off so even if he’s cancelled (highly doubt it) he’ll be fine. not to mention the potential unknown financial ventures he may have off camera (businesses, investments etc.)

From what the Vanoss Crew actually says about Evan it's pretty safe to say that Evan is a good guy and friend everyone involved.
Even when people like Ohm and Mini Ladd were bashing the Crew and spreading allegations he refused to participate in a back and fourth banter and just messed around with it.
I initially thought he did Edgy jokes to take blame from his Friends since he doesn't give a shit about any of the drama but he's instead making a statement against all of the restrictions and family-friendly forced content that TH-cam has become nowadays, including the internet as a whole.
TH-cam was never meant to be a Broadcast all kid-friendly content, it's meant to broadcast yourself and maybe your friends having fun together.

As much as I love Vanoss being himself with the edginess because the content does get hard to watch as I get older, without those jokes, it feels a little too "This stuff is too immature when it's just spectating" (content making is different, you have a reason to be immature) so those jokes are appreciated because it doesn't feel as childish. But when GTA 6 comes out I'm expecting a big resurgence in their channels. IMO they bottled RDR2 RP/ GTA V RP massively considering it fits their content so well (I recommend Cheetohead, very similar content for that stuff). So Vanoss should take it carefully for the next 1-2 years when GTA 6 is out as he'll most likely be getting massive attention again with a completely new generation.

Unpopular opinion: But Vanoss isn't really that edgy to be honest. His jokes are some of the most tame and mundane jokes. Everyone keeps blowing him up for being edgy and all , but in all reality, his level is like the F tier at the bottom of the tier list.
i disagree based off of how he was in videos in the past. the jokes aren’t forced the majority of the time, and it’s beginning to spread to others like nogla and brian. plus the videos get more views when they’re edgier. of course you’re entitled to your own opinion so i’m not gonna grill on it like some might, but to me they’re funnier now from how more edgy jokes they’ve made.
