I dub this man "Le Grand Connoiseur de Liszt"! I've listened to most of his recorded Liszt piano works and it amazes me so much how he could work them all out from memory, 10 volumes or more of technically demanding music. His technique and interpretations of Liszt are beyond doubt one of the best and I believe even authoritative. To my mind, he doesn't perform bravuras to show off, but rather deliver them justifiably in context with the passages and music as a whole. That's great discipline.
