I never get tired of seeing Adam perform. He has been honing his skills for over 20 years. Someone asked him how long it took to learn to beat box and he answered "I'm still learning." He is exciting, electrifying and creative and is always adding new elements to his repertoire.
This one is from April 2015. There are more current drum solo routines, dated 2021-2022. One of them does have a bit of Billie Jean in it, with some moon walk added if I remember right. His beatboxing has improved since this one.

I don't know that anyone has ever actually publicized Adam's range, but I sincerely believe his is the widest vocal range of all the Home Free fellas 💕

They call Mr. Adam Rupp A Freak of Nature and that he is.. I believe he is from another world.. Adam is an amazing beatboxer he even learned to play the drums just to better himself on beatboxing.. This man has talent beyond this Universe..🏡🆓🏡🍟

You just have to because he is so unbelievably good(and handsome too😊😍)!! Like he swallowed a drum kit. And then vocally he can also make so many more (instrument) sounds which is not normal

Always fun to watch someone else fall under Mr Rupps spell. This is several years old and he keeps improving - try one of the more recent drum solos where he's using a looper. Just magnificent!
Love Adam Rupp & his insane talent. He is the best out there in my opinion. He simulates the sounds of a drum perfectly. Many drummers have commented on how good he is. He sounds so realistic. His breath control must be crazy. I heard he makes the sounds both while inhaling & exhaling. This was a few years ago & hard to believe but he is even better now. Adam is the glue that holds Home Free together. He is their secret weapon which other a cappella groups can't match.

8:16 he’s referring to the Australian outback. He was making sounds much like the didgeridoo, an instrument of the area that needs you to utilize circular breathing as he does.
Isn’t this the best?!!!! Adam is so talented. Heck, the boys don’t need music with Adam around. He’s crazy talented. He has newer videos but they’re with loopers and he tapes his noises/sounds and then goes over them but I wanted you to see this one with his drumming. Just amazing!!! Yeah, he’s an alien and I don’t know how he breathes. They say circular breathing but it’s still hard to comprehend. Good reaction!🥰
You said he does not breathe. Obviously that cannot be true. A big part of it is that he can make most of the sounds either inhaling of exhaling. It is also possible - though I do not know - that he uses circular breathing techniques which he would have learned as a trumpet-performance major in college. Nonetheless, the story is that when he did his part in American Pie - 7 or so minutes of continuous beat-boxing (the song is longer, but the beginning and end did not have beatboxing) - he was light-headed by the end due to lack of oxygen.
