Brother that part about content is true only for TVF, AIB, EIC etc. Mainstream media channels are more regressive than ever these days. You might not believe but on Colors TV there was a 9 year long TV series on child marraige "Balika Vadhu" and in 2017 they launched another TV series called - "Pehredar ki Piya" where Husband is a 10 year old kid and his wife is a woman in late 20's. I mean disgusting is the only word.

Multipying by 9.5 is only in Cbse not in college

That tells us that..
Cbse only gives ranking out of 95%
That means
95% in cbse is equivalent to 100% out there..
As cbse highest percentage is only 95%
To 9 cgpa is 90% likewise...

English and 'other things' which they ask in interviews are just made up hurdles again because of so much supply of work force against less demand. And most people are not skilled for the job. Even recruiters know the facts but that's the way things are since last 2 decades. Things are improving though, gradually time will push away all the nonsense that exists and youth will have a better future, better India. And I hope this relatable with Pakistan also.

U calculate % by multiplying cgpa to 9.5
So if u get 10 cgpa
That means 95%

that's what happen in average colleges
but IIM and IIT interviews for admission and placement are very difficult

Many of the engineering colleges here belong to politicians and their associate business friends. The number is so large that shifting youth's attention from engineering in India seems like a daunting task for education reformists.
