@@Stoic_Revanchist I genuinely appreciate Iron Man 3 for showing Tony's struggles with his anxiety and PTSD after New York. It felt like a real trial for his character. I hated the Mandarin reveal though. Thor The Dark World was a really solid film as well, but Malekith is one of the worst villains in the MCU. The film though gave Thor and Loki both a lot of great character development that the recent films have kinda crapped on. Frigga's death was really important to both characters and the score during her funeral is beautiful. Visually, this was incredible and the music was great too. I agree that there's a lot of flaws with it and I'm clearly in the minority, but I liked it. I despise Ragnarok for being a cheaply made 2 hour SNL skit that spends the start of the film killing off everything about the previous Thor films, making a mockery of anything serious, and completely bastardizing Thor's personality. Ragnarok was a subplot, the Planet Hulk story was butchered, and Hela has zero depth as a villain. She isn't even relevant until Odin just goes "ok boys, so I'm gonna die, oh btw you have an evil sister whos gonna try to kill you, alright bye." Her entire motivation for everything is "I'm evil" and there's really nothing to latch onto. The green screens were pretty bad in that film, it kept inventing new powers for everyone like Loki being able to read Valkyrie's mind, Heimdall being able to project Thor to his location and let him see what he can, and Doctor Strange being able to teleport himself and people without a Sling Ring. The Black Panther movies are mostly harmed by the fact that they never truly showcased how intelligent T'Challa is and also never gave him a whole lot of depth. They peaked with his emotional arc in Civil War and then didn't know where to go in his solo outing, so they gave everything to Killmonger, who believe it or not is the most ludicrously hypocritical villain and no one wants to admit it. He motivation is to free all black people across the world and blames Wakanda. Then he talks about his scars and how each is for a kill. He literally admits that some of them are his "own brothers and sisters on this continent." Ok so how is he not part of the problem? I could go on about this, but this comment is already too long. In Wakanda Forever, Namor was a copy paste Killmonger but made even less sense because if he wanted to, he could've conquered the surface world centuries before the film ever took place.
Yeah I realize I'm in the minority here with that, but I just wasn't a fan. Felt like they could've paid off the Jake Lockley reveal a lot better. Also Layla was just a horribly written character. The giant CG finale battle wasn't anything that show needed. It was just more formulaic MCU nonsense. They really rushed to the end in my opinion. Glad so many other people liked it though because Moon Knight is a great character and Oscar Isaac played him well. Its just the show could've been better to me

@@Alex-vm3wk I understand why people were into it. Oscar Isaac definitely carried the show and committed to his role. There's so much I wanted to love about it, especially after that first episode which was nothing short of excellent. But as the show went on I just didn't feel like it succeeded in what it could've done. I'm glad you liked it, but it just didn't do it for me
Loki was a great series Its first few episodes weren’t that good but then it blew of into a beautiful explosion of magnum opus of films (MOSTLY EP 3-5) But then is got bad with the finale It should have been “a bit rich but okay”
Not gonna lie, I feel like Loki wins big with visuals but it’s story was just kinda whatever to me. Not a bad show, but not really great. I absolutely despise Thor Ragnarok and everything it did not only to Thor, but also to Hulk. They’ve never been the same since. Infinity War promised his return to seriousness, but Endgame kinda squandered that and Love and Thunder cemented him as a thundering dumbass. And honestly I like TASM2. I know it’s a flawed film, and I will meme on it as long as I live, but I still find more things I appreciate in it than I do with FFH.
Ironman 2 was great wdym? Also Ironman 3? Really? Also Age Of Ultron was also terrible. Also one surprise here was you liking Dark World. I think every Thor film is terrible. I understand your reasons for not liking Antman that much, it can drag for quite a lot. Also personally speaking, but I thought Endgame was horrible. Also you're not gonna agree with me, but I thought Spider-man NWH was mid. Also swap the reactions to Moon Knight and Doctor Strange 2, and then I'll agree with literally everything else.
I gave Iron Man 2 a "bit rich but ok." Iron Man 3 was a solid 8/10 for me. Really liked Tony's arc in it and seeing him coping in a post-New York battle world. But yeah the Mandarin reveal is what holds the film back, otherwise I think its fine; nothing compared to the first film though. I liked Age of Ultron. Story was decent, villain arc felt more personal, James Spader was perfect as Ultron. I agree its a tad bloated, which is why I would also not say its perfect, but I liked it nonetheless. Thor 1 and 2 are far more enjoyable to me than anything Taika Watiti made. Endgame has its problems and I acknowledge them every time I watch it, but I think I just love the film enough to the point where I just dont care. NWH was freaking incredible. Moon Knight pissed me off because it had potential to be great and yet it wasnt. First episode was excellent, even the fifth episode was pretty solid, but the rest was kinda mid and the finale fell on its face. Doctor Strange 2 is a flawed film but I enjoyed it enough idk 🤷♂
@@HoDoBoDo Oh I know there's plenty of issues you could pick apart. Big agree, I'm still trying to figure out how Thor Dark world and ironman 3 (one being forgetable and the other a meme) be better than Black Panther.
