This is so mind boggling to see the similarities between the previous nations and muslims today. Muslims have put the opinions of scholars of their sects over the Quran. Perhaps that is the reason of our predicament. May Allah swt turn our hearts towards Quran and make it the ultimate source of Deen.
I can sincerely say that sheikh Nouman Ali Khan has the best tafseer I have came across with. As he said we have to do our parts now that is not just to watch his videos but study altogether with our families and friends.

Our book was divided into 30 parts for a reason. We talk about the revelation to mankind, but don't have a relationship with our book. Because of a major, I started reading one juz a day. Dec 18th will be 5 years with The Book Of ALLAH! 12 times a year, 60 times come Dec. During the pandemic I was reading 3 juz a nite.
Masha Allah, you are doing great for Akhira. May Allah swt accept your ibadah. The biggest thing you can do is to spread Islam by your tongue in you country. As people listen an believe more to people o their own.

SubhanAllah what a passionate plea around Quranic studies. It’s a monumental task but AH that we have someone so dedicated to the mission of educating the ummah. We can’t follow the path of the people of the past. I literally just started reading the Quran daily and I’m 42 mA. The Quran was never a real part of my life except for halal and haram. Now I’m guided by the letter and spirit of the law aH. The biggest hurdle for this generation is exactly what Ustaad mentioned - out of touch with the Quran both in terms of feeling and relevance. Once you have the heart, the mind willingly follows. That has been my experience AH. May Allah SWT reward Ustaad for his immensely beneficial work and make it a success. Ameen! Brother, May Allah help you in your intentions of connecting people with the spirit of Quran. We are lucky to live in a time of revival of Islam, a few generations of Muslims were raised in colonial or post colonial era where Islam was not in practice so it is not their fault. We still have a lot of people in poor Muslim countries who don’t know how to say la illa ha ill Allah because nobody cares to teach them.
In sha Allah I'm gonna start his recommendation of those 20 min videos because I truly wanted to connect with the book of Allah! May Allah make it easy for all of us and may He guide us to the straight path and keep us steadfast on it, Ameen!

Ustaad said what I’ve been thinking for a long time. Not many scholars have classes teaching and discuss the Quran itself. Lots of Sufi teachers teaching their books by Imam Al Haddad and very weak on tafsir. I think Shayk Hamza has never given a comprehensive talk on a Surat. Very knowledgeable on philosophers and philosophy. Always rated Ustaad Nouman and Yasser Qadi as knowledgeable about the tafsir and Quran . I have read translation and tafsir here and there but now going to start from A to Z! InshaaAllah, started and stopped but need to discipline myself to stick with it. I bought some members of my family The Clear Quran as a basic start. I recommend this copy. Please Ustaad, don’t criticize Yusef Ali translation. He uses classical English which is more respectful. Just as the Quran is written in Classical Arabic, which is not spoken, classical English is the same! No longer spoken. Yusef Ali translation was the first copy I read. It was this that got me interested in reading Tafsir and meaning. People need to improve their skills in English. Not blame the authors for use of classical English. There are other works that can be read alongside the old English! Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water!

Muslims aren’t supposed to be in non Muslim countries to begin with and I want to learn the Authentic Islam, learning here just feels washed down and limited. I’m not a Saudi national I’m Palestinian, my grandfather was an electrical engineer for Aramco before he passed and my mom married my father who had a scholarship by Jimmy Carter to get to America. 15:30 I think what happened to Tawrah and Telmult is same as Quran and Shariah. We must look back into the Sharah and compare to Quran again. We cannot just accept the rules of Shariah.
